Is this thing just a JRPG/emulation machine?
>>744550320>He doesn't play ludo like Rhythm thief, Style Savvy, Picross, Kid Icarus Uprising and Boxboy on 3dsI shiggy diggy
shiren and pokemon romhacks for me
>>744550320most handhelds are exactly that anon
Literally installed the hshop cia 30 minutes ago and it works like a charm.Much better than having to find qrcode even on their website.
>>744550983it's nice but not comprehensive, especially when it comes to stuff like fanpatches. they host some prepatched stuff but not all. otherwise yeah it's super sweet
strange journey or strange journey redux?
expensive piece of shit obsolete by the ayn thor
>>744551975original. Redux has some cool ideas with the commands system, giving the MC more of a military commander kind of vibe mechanically but all the new stuff is worse, and it dumbs down the subapp system by letting you stack all of them for free, where you had to specialize in the original.
>>744550320I wish. It's a VN/Puzzle machine. It doesn't even have the power to emulate snes, unless you use an ancient version of snes9x that has graphics and sound bugs.
>>744550320This thing really had no games.
>>744551106being a complete archive of every released 3DS title is plenty good imo
Nope. When hacked it is the best handheld gaming device imaginable. Literally hundreds of great games to play, thousands of hours of content, all free. The 3D effect is cool on some on the first party titles.
>>744550320puyo pop fever
>>744550320i played oot and mm on my o3ds and broke the thumbstick on it, it's got some cool stuff but i don't trust the stick with much pressure anymore.>>744554137the o3ds struggled a bit with snes emulation last time i used an o3ds, although i heard it's gotten more optimized over the years. didn't notice any problems with snes emulation on my n3ds when i was playing snes ff6 a few months back.
>>744550320Yes and that is why it is hands down the greatest system of all time.
>>744557807back in the day it certainly was but chinkhelds got it beat just with the suite of emulation they can do nowadays.
>>7445596563DS is still a pretty strong contender just because it actually has a resistive touchscreen so DS and 3DS games play properly
>>744560218big true, I keep my 3DS around for exactly that reason. I still have my physical copies of TWEWY and SMT SJ too. Though I do wish I had a DSI so I could play DS games on the right sized screens.
>>744550801Based Rhythm Thief enjoyer
>>744560315DSi's are surprisingly still decently priced on eBay
It has three monster hunter games which is pretty damn good.
>>744560456so they are, I have a pretty nice local game shop I visit every now and then and their hardware is usually pretty reasonably priced, and the people who work there are cool. when I bought my vita they brought out every one they had in storage, charged them up and we were booting through them all to check their firmwares for hacking. ended up buying P4G and Muramasa from them as well to give them a bit of business for being so chill
