I'm probably not going to buy it on launch, mostly because of the battlepass shit. 7 was pretty whatever and taking the most from 5 of all games really doesn't inspire confidence, especially at that price point.

I put up with the bad control rebinding and text file editing just to make my controls work, and I expect that won't be improved either. They're doing the same thing they did with 7, selling a special branded flight stick, and with 7 they made ONLY that flight stick work with the game natively. But it will still be possible to make other sticks work. The patch for improved FOV is a pain, but it's still possible and I put up with it. But freemium battlepass shit? You may as well admit you're redoing the pay for fuel bullshit infinity had. Fuck outta here.
