The experience > gameplay
>>744555368slay the spire really is gameplayslop
Too bad Inscryption only gets worse and worse the longer it goes on.
>>744555368>the experience is only good one time>the gameplay is timelessI like both but come on now
Do other anons really not know what I mean when I say slay the spire looks like a shitty mobile game style wise? I said this before and got a lot of denial but it really feels like a game that's actively trying to make me not want to play it by how it looks.
>>744555997Yeah lol
>>744555368Have there been any games that tried to recapture Inscryption's chapter 1 vibe?Closest thing I can think of is Buckshot Roulette.
>>744559224STS visually reminds me of 20 year old amateur free Flash games except with less soul and consistency
>>744555368Translation: I'm a graphics whore
>>744559580Sounds like you're projecting, this has nothing to do with graphics
>>744559224it looks ugly as fuck and the fact that they made a sequel that looks just as ugly is bizarre
>>744559224yeah I hated the art in the first one. The second having animations helps enough to make it passable but it always felt like it's the bare minimum
>>744559224I personally think it looks just fineIt's clean which is what matters the mostThe only aesthetic I can't stand is pixelshit because it's visual noise
>>744559224Monster Train looks like a shitty mobile gameSTS looks like it has an artstyle that you just don't like
>>744559881No STS genuinely looks like shit
>>744559915Nah
>>744559881That's funny because I just looked up what monster train looks like and I'm not sure what the difference here is.
>>744560037NTA but the way the characters are lit in Monster Train does give it more of a "mobile game ad" aesthetic. StS is a lot softer.
