Played 90 or so hours, I'm pretty much done with it. I've gotten less play time out of more expensive multiplayer games but it's still super disappointing because of the wasted potential. The environmental and sound design is amazing but the characters are kind of gay and the hero shooter aspect sucks. Being designed around trios made it impossible to have consistent good games unless you're like a serious gamer who always has people on trannycord speed-dial or whatever. But more than anything, there's just barely any content. The contracts are almost all super uninteresting and the fact that you're just supposed to repeat them for the rest of the games life is insanely retarded. Also the story went absolutely nowhere. It's insane in hindsight how much Destiny content they could shit out compared to this. Genuinely don't know what's next for Bungie but this game won't make it a year

>>744556368Yeah pretty much the exact same for me on all points, the world is cool but the PvE just never gets interesting and the PvP is occasionally fun but far more often just the whole lobby dying instantly in the first two minutes and then either long boring looting if you won or long boring menus and queuing if you lost. I tried to force myself to play some of the vault breaker shit and it really just highlights how mediocre the PvP focus forced everything else to be.
They need to make starting a run instantaneous. fairness is irrelevant, it's not a fair game.

>>744557917The compiler is just a boss enemy you fight if you manage to clear three vaults in one run, and it already existed in the regular mode for the map except to fight it there you had to do all seven vaults across any number of runs. In neither mode is there any story or interesting progression to the map, it's just another sandbox to run around.
