people 15 years ago thought russia a threat
>>
15 years ago they were.
and then they picked a fight with someone who was significantly weaker than them and still somehow lost
in the process, they exposed how corrupt, underfunded, and mismanaged russia's military is, and now they aren't a threat. The only thing anyone has to be concerned about is that russia has the means to achieve mutually assured destruction. But not for long I suspect.
