Basically means you can totally ignore painting and swarming salmonids. The max duration up means it lasts longer than its cooldown so you can have it up permanently. You can even have it automatically trigger when you do damage so you don't even have to think about it at all, painting and minor salmonids just stop being an aspect of the gameplay essentially.

I know it's probably just to keep from confusing the player, but the insistence that the Salmonids produce ink annoys me. Inklings and Octolings do because cephalopods have ink sacs. Salmonids use their saliva, which is ink-like in consistency. Big Man uses venom, as rays produce venom.

At higher ranks it's quicker to dump everything on Steelheads, Drizzlers, and Scrappers without waiting for their gimmick since they can die to being shattered after being frozen or take continuous damage from ferment and burn. The ideal thing is lumping bosses in one spot and nuking as many as you can with each gadget.
I went to the store to buy this yesterday and I took the empty box up to the counter in electronics to get the full game but there was nobody there so I waited there for 2 minutes and even rang the bell but nobody came so I left empty handed this is why physical games are dead.
