So when is this game gonna be 20 bucks? I wanna see for myself whether it's good or bad.

From the various threads of people who have actually played it here I've gathered>Atsu is beat-for-beat the same character as Naoe from AC Shadows including her lust for revenge and chasing after a bunch of masked figures but completely unlikable unlike Naoe.>The combat is a step up in terms of fluidity but a step down in terms of fun and complexity due to the new weapon system instead of the stance system so it's actually far easier than Sushi.>Game immediately calls Atsu a Ghost without her having even earned the moniker and equates her to Jin constantly.>"I am woman hear me roar" Ghost Stance is beyond laughable.>Map can visually be stunning like Sushi but the issue is that Yotei seemingly has more open fields so there's a lot less interesting things going on visually.>You can go to JIn's grave and get his armor and katana, essentially passing the torch to a character who isn't likable or deserves it.I never saw any discussions on side quests whatsoever, and the little I saw broken down about the main story I listed here.

In tsushima the mechanic felt more earned being unlocked halfways into the game, whereas in yotei you are immediately just able to use it.Also the game has way too many and long climbing segments. At some shrines I found myself jumping between rocks for over 10 minutes just wishing it would be over with.As for the main story I thought it was ok, but I was never able to disassociate from the fact atsu is a woman yet somehow it's never touched upon how she slaughters entire armies or never struggles fighting men twice her size. The main villain you chase throughout the entire game that slaughtered her family is also never quite properly explained why he had such an obsession with killing her father. Overall the game is a 7/10 since combat is still fun I would say but I still prefer tsushima

>>744563329The story's just some generic revenge shite. A dude or less ugly foid would make it less bad, but it would still be disappointing compared to Tsushima. The setting isn't bad (and it looks gorgeous), but it is historically inaccurate, (though not nearly as much as Ass Creed Shadows) with the girlboss protagonist being it's biggest issue in that regard. The firearms are historically accurate for 1603 and aren't badly implemented.
