I really hate it when people compare rosters of a new fighter to the size of a roster from a game that's more or less "done" with tons of added dlc characters or whatever. Like no fucking duh a roster at launch is gonna be smaller than one that's been cooking for 5+ years. And don't get me started on MvC2. It's a great game and the sheer size of it's roster is amazing but this only happened because the sprites for 90% of the cast were already made. Don't even think for a second that it's roster would be anything even close to the same size if they had to make new sprites for every single character.

Or maybe an install where he toughens up and then he can't be chipped at all, even when attacked. I don't think there's been a character based explicitly on getting hit and powering through it. There are some who have something similar like Raven's masochism stance, but this goes further than that.
