The series peaked here.
>/v/tards having the worst take humankind can ever conceive for years on straight.
>>744564208Agreed
>>744564208This game was so good, too bad they can't replicate it.
Speaking of which, angels fall first fucking released 1.0. I had totally forgotten about it
>>744564208it peaked here
>>744564208>>744565871>the two most soulful battlefields >both are dead and lost in favor of generic modern vehicle slop
>>744564208This is what Battlefront should have been.
>>744564208Yeah.
>>744564208Only Battlefield I missed out on playing outside of the demo because I was playing a ton of Planetside instead.
Time to choose, /v/.
Looks like shit. I haven't played it but 6 is probably best for the graphics. Then 3. Hardline isn't bad.
modding wise it peaked with 1942 because mods for 2 took forever to spin up and when they finally did wll the teams went on to make indie spin offs
>>744567750for me it's forgotten hope
>>744564208We lost the technology
good to see no one mentioning bf2 (it fucking sucks)
>>744564208>>744565871this one right here op
>>744564208I liked BF2 best but either were better battlefield games than the bad company styled sequels from 3 onwards.
>>744568971Your momma fucks and sucks.
>>744567069>BFH goes open beta>not even a year in and EAsy resorts to creating P2W weapons of varying significance from outright scams to major upgrades, and makes it a pain in the ass for F2P>cosmetics go completely off the rails over the years and team stacking remains a problem throughout its entire life>BFP4F>not even that long in and the game adds a customizable weapon system that nerfs everybody's guns>purchasable skill point equivalence>it just kind of exists when BF2 was still a thing, even with private servers after its demise
>say I wonder how angels fall first is like now that it's out of an 11 year EA cycle>depressing
>>744570218Gotta strike while the iron is hot.
>>744564208>Commander mode not as obnoxious as in 2>Floating bases could be used aggressively to pressure the map if the team actually manned the guns>Sci-fi gadgets meant all classes got a bunch of cool toys>Still unfortunately infected with some city maps but still plenty of big fucking Battlefield maps where you want vehicles2142 was one of the last gasps of multiplayer kino
>>744564208It's true.I still don't understand people simping for BF3 tho
>>744565871IT AIN'T MEIT AIN'T ME
>>744564208People who didn't play it will never understand how kino 2142 was.
There's always that guy on a forum that acts like bf2142 was the best thing ever
2142 > bad company 2 > bf4 > *
>>744569584you forgot>BFH servers got hacked and all user passwords got leaked
>>744579131A lot of those passwords were dated by the time they got leaked by LulzSec, but I suppose most people aren't going to be that diligent.
>>744570783IMO the best thing about 2142 was that all classes had really nicely rounded out roster of options that supported many kinds of playstyles, without any superficial ”here’s 20 assault rifles that feel the same” bullshit. My favorite thing had to be the cloaking device for recon, it really enabled that sneaky carbine + C4 gameplay in a way that isn’t possible in other games of the series, but it still wasn’t OP.
