is it worth playing even if I know all the spoilers? I was really annoyed with the constant shilling last year, and I still had a shitty pc that couldn't do it justice, so I looked up the plot. but now I have good hardware and Im kind of curious.

If you play it, I'd recommend not doing much of the side content until you've finished the game itself (you WILL one-shot the final boss, E33 is notoriously very easy to "break" with very minimal effort). The game's very poorly paced when it comes to difficulty.Don't expect anything groundbreaking like what reviews would like you to think, or you'll be disappointed. It's fun and worth playing but it has issues, especially in Act 3.

Just finished up the character quests to get those Gradient skills, got a new weapon or two and... I utterly destroyed the final boss to the point where I had to purposely prolong the fight

Not having painted power holds you back so you don't outright slaughter the Paintress, but as soon as you equip it in act 3 your damage skyrockets if you've been hitting 9999 for a while. Upgrading weapons scales your damage up pretty quickly too.
