Tasks like salvaging parts to repair a vehicle would be major objectives, light infrastructure projects like building walls, roads, radar stations, the sort you would expect in RTS games but it just wouldn't be combat oriented. So you might have issues like being unable to carry enough fuel for a journey so being obliged to buy fuel halfway. How do you work out how much is available and how much it will cost? Are you going to be stuck in an outpost all week waiting for some other caravan to send fuel. But if you send too much, a Max convoy, will anyone help you if you're attacked?Very simple game template, very few IP assets, success hinges on mathematically sound mechanics.
