So where are the AI-powered visual novels?

Not on my pc for sure

When people can realistically afford to run more than one local model at a time in order to make anything worthwhile.

on f95
they are not good

>they are not good
This. As if taking screencaps of Koikatsu and running them through renpy wasn't scraping the barrel enough already.

AI powered is different from AI made. I'm assuming OP is talking about AI Dungeon, but for VNs.

A botmakie from /aicg/ known as Monika Anon from was workeing on Doki Doki Literature Club remaster where he combined Renpy with LLM. Based on screenshots it looked really good from the first trie, but anons kept bullieing him so he quitted.

>you can now make a VN both without drawing nor writing
Honestly though, at that point you might as well just use chatbots.

character art is actually what AI always struggles with the most. even with trained LORAs and impainting and all kinds of fancy tool, the statistical nature of modern AI makes CONSISTENT looking characters extremely hard to do. you can get decent single page stuff, but all in all you are better off using AI to make you a big ass 3D game using royalty free assets instead

If it's just facial expressions you can get away with inpainting.
>>

clothes are what it struggles with the most
also, AFAIK there's no real dedicated pixel art tool yet
this is part of why everything looks like slop
AI code on the other hand actually made huge progress, it's insane

No I mean, if what you want to make is more expressions for a character, you can get away with using the in-paint tool so the AI only has to redraw the face specifically, everything else will be the same image. Same if you are only changing certain other parts of the body, like trying to move an arm.

Yeah I'm looking for basically
>plays like a normal VN
>works like an AI chatbot
>card/game is set to still follow a rough, general story but the dialogue and actions are done on the fly by AI
bonus points if it lets you move around or grind stats like True Love 95
>>
>>744573246
That sounds easy enough to do as a browser game, LLM running in the background for the dialogues and code, and image gen for backgrounds/character portraits/CGs(maybe)
>>
Isn't sillytavern basically something like that
>>
>>744572637
You can get full consistent character sheets at this point. Using a lora or reference image is fine. Sometimes it might fudge a detail, but you can inpaint that or touch it up yourself.
