At this point I feel like completely shutting down and blacklisting anyone associated with 343/Halo Studios from the industry and giving Certain Affinity exclusive ownership while also just making Halo multi-platform is all it would take to save this series going forward.
Save?It lived, it died. Why bring it back?I can't see Halo bringing something new to the table if you bring it back.
Humans are Forerunners.
Name ONE successful FPS campaign released in the last 10 years. That's right, the era of FPS is over, there is nothing else to be done, people just want to zone out in some gacha battle royale sloppa.
Its over Make something new
>>744574576Fire everyone working at 343 fifteen years ago and hire white men in their place
Stay the fuck away from any Spartan shit and make it about some fuck-ass Marine between the events of Halo 3 and 4
>>744574576As single player games they were always a bit dull, and the peak of the fun was more to do with it being the popular multiplayer title at the time than the game being the best available. It's a product of a different age and there's nothing you can really do. It's like trying to 'save' Quake because you really enjoyed QuakeWorld in the 90s as if the zeitgeist could ever really be recaptured.
>>744574576Make a new franchise that is limited to three main games and two spinoffs. Make the story memorable, the characters cool, the art style distinct and the gameplay fun. The Halo story is over, they are milking a dead horse and will never come close to making a new game feel like OG Halo.
