A Blue Reflection thread was deleted and this one may or may not be deleted too. Censored collection or not, the girls wear unique underwear in the first game and that's...a nice touch. It's not just Hinako, considering the OP of the other thread that disappeared.
Lime is so gorgeous.
>>744586303She has long hair...but it's true that no one says that she's pretty in the games. Unlike Shihori and Yuri which are considered attractive in-universe, Lime and her sister are there and don't stand out I guess. Also, that screenshot, oh my.
>>744586303Not Hinako?
>>744588097She's best girl
>>744588452Indeed! Hinako is a great protagonist!
Are you trying to make BR threads into bannable offenses like Deltarune threads?
>>744590049No, I just wanted to say that about the first game using that image knowing that this thread may or may not be deleted too.
Before the thread dies...here, Lime's sister.
I love Yuzu.
>>744585567I will not buy the collection and I will not support the vandalization of art.
>>744592734Fair enough, I don't blame you for not wanting to play the collection.Yeah, this is very recent official art, it looks great.
>>744585567Prettiest twin>>744591972Sluttiest twin
>>744593947I feel that "sluttiest twin" should be Lime and not Yuzu.
>thread was deletedMaybe take the hint then?
>>744594319The only "hint" is that NSFW images shouldn't go in the OP on a blue board. Otherwise, Blue Reflection threads are welcome here.
>>744594319the thread was deleted because janny thought it was a general.I think in the future you have to specify what game its for because apparently talking about a series enough times classifies it as a general. Just in the future specify that the thread is for quartet.
They still haven't shipped my copy for the Nintendo Switch. >>744593687As expected, official art is the best! Kishida-sensei drew my girlfriend Shiho very well here!
>>744595223oh, I take this back then >>744595172Well, we probably have enough people here to get a /vg/ general going, right?
>>744585567>blue reflectionNice try bucko, I know /v/aca when I see it
>>744595309>Well, we probably have enough people here to get a /vg/ general going, right?I doubt it, I've tried resurrecting gust generals in the past and they all died. Atelier / Ar Tonelico have always been way more popular but not popular enough since most people don't actually play the games anymore.
>>>/vg/
>>744585567Hinako's body is outrageous
>>744585567>>744586303cute lesbians. shame it got censored.
>>744595309As you probably know, there was an Atelier and Gust general a while ago and the concept/idea just...died...twice. People say "third time's the charm" but who knows...in any case Atelier, Blue Reflection and games developed by Gust don't really have a general right now, the closest thing is the indie and miscellaneous games general, or whatever it's called, specifically for indie games and anything else that doesn't have its own general, so, they aren't ideal threads if it's just discussion of Gust games.
Anyone managed to get the bonus for beating all 4 games in Quartet yet?
>>744595609Yeah, I don't think these games are a good fit for "indie generals." It's a different vibe and a different kind of community, in my opinion.
>>744595640speaking of which, do NOT play Sun before BR2 despite the game tricking you. It is SPOILERS
>>744595640No. My copy has been shipped but it's going to arrive later I hope.
>>744595682Yeah, I'm not sure why they recommend Sun before 2nd Light, the spoilers go crazy
>>744595682>speaking of which, do NOT play Sunftfy
You retards seriously playing the male MC trash?
>>744595682Where do they take place chronologically? If it's just spoilers about past events by the time you get to BR2, I don't mind as much, but if they spoil things that directly happen in BR2, I'll be worried.
>>744595560She has above-average breasts and a lean body (Ao's words, not mine).>>744595573Of the posts you replied Shihori appears in one of them and she's the closest character to a lesbian in the first game, she may be one but it's up to you to decide, that's more or less how it is.
>>744595838Well, yeah? I don't like the male main character, the mere fact that he isn't voiced when other games have characters with names you can change or even without a canon name and the main character STILL has a little of voice acting at least is something indefendible, a clear example of laziness or skimping on expenses/not wanting to use the budget for that, but it's still part of the franchise and I want to give Sun a chance.
There's a timeline ingame, It goesStart of Ray - BR1 - Rest of Ray - Sun - SLIn hindsight the only good addition to the plot of the series was Ray. Sun got stuck in development hell and was supposed to come out with SL. There's a huge gap of nothing between BR1 and SL which Sun was supposed to fill in but the story got rushed and never finished properly. Overall even after revisiting SL years later I am still extremely disappointed with the game, especially the setting. Sun showed the most potential but the games we got are pathetic. The series is a mess.
>>744595838I never played the original so I at least wanted to see what it was about and tbf I enjoyed it well enough>>744595934Sun happens before 2nd Light, the problem is that Sun spoils several major twists of 2nd Light
>>744596196>but it's still part of the franchise and I want to give Sun a chanceAt what point do you not consider a game in a franchise to be not canon? When they change director? Another devteam altogether? When it completely breaks with anything that the previous two games stood for by trying to just milk it and attract a completely different audience? Sun is not a Blue Reflection game. That is all i am trying to say. Perfectly valid to try the game out with the reasoning you provided, i should add. I personally would not, my reasoning is this post.
>>744596569I guess the problem with the Blue Reflection franchise is that there aren't spin-offs and everything is considered canon and even part of the same universe. What you ask is a good question and I personally think that the third answer is the best one, not so much a new director or development team. It's true that Blue Reflection Sun goes against concepts that are key in the series, Blue Reflection is basically a series where magical GIRLS take the spotlight and even so, the main character in Sun is a guy and that's just scratching the surface, so, I wouldn't blame you or anyone else for not wanting to play Sun even if that person also says "I like Blue Reflection and Blue Reflection: Second Light".
this game reminds me of celesphonia, but since it's not an hgame it's automatically worse
BR1 feels like it just should've been a 3D visual novel with how barebones the gameplay itself is. Is BR2 more fun at least? I dont mind zero difficulty as long as its fun to play, like Paper Mario is fun but easy
>>744594212I can't wait to play as Shiho in Blue Reflection Quartet.>>744595243She looks great there, I don't think it's an accident that she's showing a little of cleavage. Shiho showing her cleavage is kind of rare, at least when she isn't wearing her outfit as a Reflector.
>>744597295It's an RPG with ATB combat, I consider it more fun.
>>744597295Generally people find BR2's combat to be "better" but I'm actually replaying it right now on NG+ and on Deathwish difficulty (max difficulty) and I still find it a bit unsatisfying, even though I'm now forced to use items and more of each character's kitThere's something about the fact that you quickly go from doing 0 damage to nuking even bosses (due to the way the combo system increases your damage) that's a major turn off for me, I don't even dislike ATB
>>744597295There's more going on with BR1's mechanics than is readily apparent; it's just so easy that there's no real incentive to delve into them. I think the long combat animations and somewhat repetitive structure of the game also make the combat seem worse than it actually is.That said, combat in BR2 doesn't really have any more depth to it, but it is much snappier, so most people enjoy it more. I think it's the best variation of ATB mechanics I've encountered.
>>744595979*Ako.
>>744585567Can you actually put your character in underwears?
>>744598745If you use a mod *in the original version for PC*, yes. That said, the game has (mostly optional) scenes of the characters in underwear which were censored in the collection worldwide.
>>744598943So the remake is fully censored with even underwears gone? YIKES.
>>744599094Not gone, "just" covered up with more clothing, they wear camisoles or shirts but the bra straps are still visible, even the bra sliders can be seen in the censored scenes...
>>744599287>even the bra sliders can be seen in the censored scenes...what happens if you slide their bras?
>>744599287Man this is seriously gay.
>>744599357I don't know...all I know is that those small rectangles on the straps (sliders) are used to adjust the bra for comfort, and that detail, not to mention the straps obviously, is visible in Blue Reflection Quartet too.
>>744599489Literally.
>>744598287BR1 has its own escalation mechanic, and I think it actually scales more quickly/heavily. That's one of the things I like about the combat in both games, though. Battles intensifying over time rather than winding down as characters burn through resources like in most RPGs gives it a different feel. The balance could definitely use some work, though.
>>744600967Oh, this concept art looks so cool.
Are adult woman enjoyers welcome here?
>>744601048Most characters are under the age of 18 but some look like they could be young adults or be 21 or 22 (Yuri, Mao, Mio...). Also, Momo is canonically 18, so, sure. Not all characters look very young, basically.
>hard mode is called Deathwish>not Death MarchFumio is fuming
>>744599287This is fucking bullshit! I'm sick of this shit!
>>744601024He doesn't get much attention since he wasn't drawing cute girls (or generally as heavily involved as Kishida Mel,) but I think they made a good call in hiring Yocky to do the Sephirot/demon designs. I like how they end up feeling pretty alien/otherworldly.
>>744601816A wanted opportunity. In the Japanese version it's called "Ao must die", so it's not like they were trying to translated how the difficulty is called in Japanese or anything.>>744601956Well said, his contribution should also be appreciated.
The Blue Reflection thread that was on vrpg has died completely.
>>744603908It lingered on the board for a ridiculously long time.
>BR1 is a short game>keep falling asleep playing it on my steamdeckI'm never getting to SL...
>>744595223And yet we get 10 palworld threads, 20 bing bing wahoos and a bunch of fotm shit every day and the janny doesnt ban.In reality the janny is a trannoid faglord and hates beautiful anime women in he OP.
>>744605461Will SL even run on the Steam Deck? I remember the original release having issues with performance. Is the Quartet version better optimized?
>>744605840>Is the Quartet version better optimized?lol noBut I'm streaming it across the room to my steamdeck
>>744606745>playing BR makes me realize I'll never be a japanese highschool girl in an all girls school
>>744607107I love how much personality Hinako has. You usually expect this kind of girl MC to be a doormat but Hinako's "why me" attitude is refreshing
>>744585567her hair is pure fucking SEX
>>744607682I bet some people would say that it's the best part of her.
Do you think they'll ever ship my copy for the Nintendo Switch?
>>744608224My copy was shipped, then again, it may also depend on where you live (not everyone who posts here lives in Canada, the USA or the UK obviously) and the stories/site you use to purchase the game (Playasia, Amazon, Video Games Plus etc...).
>>744608407Are you a Nintendo Switch player too?
>>744608947Yeah, I don't have a PS5, so, physical Nintendo Switch version it is.
These bodytypes are the peak of female attractiveness. I don't care what anyone else says.
Uta sex.
>>744609174Slim girls with small breasts? There are some characters like that in the Blue Reflection series but there are also a lot of busty girls, I don't know what you would prefer. This is a screenshot of the first game on PS4, the main character has a bigger chest than other girls.
>>744603908Didn't it last like several months and died purely because of bump limit? I'm sure a new thread would live just as long, if someone just made one
>>744610152Yes, it lasted many months, a little less than a year and it reached the bump limit, now it's not even archived and it's error 404 of course. I don't think another thread is necessary, so I don't plan to make another one there. Besides, people would prefer an Atelier and Gust general but as already discussed, that may or may not work.
>>744610128Wife
>>744585567wasn't this shit censored?
>>744610467Yes and no, it's complicated.
Blue Reflection 1 is the only good entry in this series. Gust and Kishida lost the plot when they started to get ambitious and made it a multimedia project.
>>744610467Sort of? You get shots like this 15 mins into the third game, feels like they begrudgingly nerfed just the first game to get the collection past the ethics department
>>744610467Only the original first game was truly uncensored. Second Light and everything else came censored where it removed stuff that the first game had. It's similar with Ryza 2 going into 3. KT is ran by a homosexual cartel, please understand.
>>744585567The unlisted version is CSAM. And having images like these remain online can't last. We'll have to do something about this, and find whoever is responsible soon.
>>744592734qrd?
>>744611857quartet heavily censored the first game.
>>744612208fucking cowards, why are censorious faggots such gay ass homosexuals
>>744611329UK should be nuked. Their only worthwhile import was Red Dwarf and it ended. Now it's just a worthless island full of cucks and slaves.
Can you get the uncensored version in steam?
>>744612704The original version for PC is still on Steam, yes. Don't expect that version on sale though.
>>744612425they removed a bunch of dlc as well. quartet is barely a definitive collection of the series. ray and sun are also incredibly pathetic in terms of content. gust just shipped the series out to die yet again.
>>744612561The responsible will face the full force of the law.
Will gust give us another character like this ever again?
>>744610547I've read something like this before. Even speaking as someone who likes Blue Reflection: Second Light a lot more or less, I can understand thinking that the first game is not only better than the sequel, but also the best part of the franchise, with the idea that, yes, the first game also involves Hinako protecting the world with Yuzu and Lime but it's not something huge like "there's a substance that looks like ash falling throughout the world and everything is in danger" or "the ash almost ended everything" or anything, the IP turned into a multimedia franchise with an anime of 24 episodes (!) more games, but it was better when it was something smaller in scope and ambition.Also...even though it's true Blue Reflection: Second Light on PS4 looks a little better than the first game on the same console, it's also a fact more or less that the first game has a better atmosphere that is simply perfect for the game, that's something that perhaps everyone thinks...Second Light looks better graphically but the soft lightning and cold colors work better especially in the context of the first game, so, in a way it's better...
>>744613940Morisaki Alesia Yu only appears in Sun.
>>744609260That's something Uta would enjoy I imagine.
XDThey probably thought it was a Blue Archive thread which is an insta ban here.
>>744615631It's what someone posted above. Blue Reflection, Blue Archive, they don't sound very different and people have confused one with the other.
I played Persona 5 again, and I'm blown away with how a similar concept (daily school life, making choices to pass a chunk of time until the next day) can be so much better when you nail the execution. The thing is, I don't really want to play Persona 5, I want to play Blue Reflection, or what could have been, if that makes sense. I feel like they were very obviously inspired by Persona 5, but probably just didn't have the budget to match the scale that such an execution would require, or something like that.
>>744615852To be clear, I am not saying "make this like Persona 5." I just can't help but feel they had a concept for a better game but couldn't land the execution due to most likely budgetary constraints.
>>744615852>>744616163I get you. Persona 3-5 proves that the concept can work, and a game like that can be successful too and have mainstream appeal...I mean, it's true that the Persona games are much more appealing to a general audience than the first Blue Reflection, Blue Reflection doesn't even have English voices for starters.
>>744585567>Yuri slop
>>744617052The sequel I guess. Again, you can't just say "I don't like yuri in general".
>>744585567Is it a good game?
>>744617008I hear people often say that this game is boring when the topic of BR comes up. I bet you could make it about more fun if... well, I really don't remember what you do in Persona 5 outside of dungeons, but I remember it was more immersive and interesting. I think "exploring different parts of town" was a big part of it, maybe.
We will never get Uta Reflection...
Fuck it, I'll make Blue Refletion 3. In RPG Maker.
Who's the most rapeable girl?
>>7445936873 out of 4 girls all look the same wtf
>>744617124Nigga Idk anything about this game, I just know its an all female anime school girl thing. So there is almost definitely yuri shit.
>>744617127The first game? I like it and I consider it a decent game but that will depend on your tastes. Key questions are "do you like magical girls?" "Do you like turn-based RPGs?" "Do you like easy games or do You prefer a challenge?" Do you like games that are set in a high school?" "Do you like games with a sad or emotional story?" etc. If you answer "yes" and also like easy games (or aren't looking for a challenge at least) you may like Blue Reflection.
>>744617309Kek
>>744617329But again, the fact that you say "yurislop" or "Yuri shit" instead of just "yuri" implies you don't like the genre the first place, and no genre is inherently bad, that's just how genres are or work.
I don't care for the yuri genre but I don't hate it other than the fandoms it attracts. BR primarily isnt a yuri series so there's something for everybody in it. It started out as a JK fanservice game, all the yuri shit came after.
>>744617360Well, uh, I liked LiS, but that’s my only frame of reference. Mostly just curious because it looks cute
>>744616163It is pretty clear that they had to heavily roll back the scope of BR1 during development. It's kind of a shame that they went in a different direction with BR2, but that may have been a more practical game structure for the budget they were working with.>>744617127In some ways yes, in other ways no. It has both significant strengths and obvious flaws. If you're on board with the premise, like the aesthetics, and care enough about character development/interactions to overlook some serious balance issues, then you might enjoy it.
>>744617210Beyond Oasis is basically that. Who knows if that game will be finished or if it's going to see the light of day.>>744617230Um...who knows...
>>744617162
>>744617616That Atelier game is definitely somewhat different but yeah, you may like it then. It's not going to be amazing as a game, but as an experience (definitely the best Word here)...fantastic.
>>744617941Thanks, I’ll try it just to expand my horizons. Shame to hear about the censorship.
>>744618345Okay.
>>744617749Beyond Oasis? I looked it up, and it's a really old game from the 80s or something where you play as Aladdin.
>>744605480There are a million linux threads up 24/7 that are extremely offtopic, they just don't care anymore.
>>744619226He was slightly off on the name, it's Beyond the Oasis. It's an RPGmaker Blue Reflection fangame that has been in development for a while. There's a demo out with an english translation, but I haven't gotten around to trying it yet.
>>744619546Fixed
Remind me again these are junior high or?
>>744620289High school freshmen/first year. At least in the original game.
>>744620289college students
>>744619825I see. Thank you for the information.
>>744619546>>744619898Oh my...
Haha...That's our Hinako...
>>744595223>I think in the future you have to specify what game its for because apparently talking about a series enough times classifies it as a general. Just in the future specify that the thread is for quartet. One of my biggest pet peeves on /v/ is when people post about something I don't know yet, it looks interesting to me, but then nobody ever mentions what it's called so I can go look into it and maybe play it. So you should honestly be doing that anyway
>>744585567This fucking thread again? Will you fuck off already?
>>744623226My apologies sir. Remember, you don't have to post in threads you don't like or find interesting.
>>744623226what's wrong with blue reflection threads? they have been pretty comfy ever since that doodle autist fucked off. the games are popular enough for these threads not to hit page 10.
>>744585567>>744623457
>>744595223Based. Fuck you BRfags. Even wokeshit is worth more discussing here than your censored shit
>>744623920>hurdur its awesome janny is abusing xer powers
>>744624093Cope and seethe
>>744622902She is and we love her.
>>744625458Not bad but Kokoro would work better.
I'm not feeling so good yuri sisters...
>>744626095I remember reading that Kanna has a habit of calling him that, she probably considers him an adoptive brother or something. Kanna is discount Hiori, so...eh, I'm not bothered by her, at least not yet.
This series is so dead, man. Theres no way it can recover.
>>744626836ditch the yuri and go all in on a harem romance with leader-kun. sun had the right idea but all gacha games are doomed from the start.
>>744625725Kokoro would probably just eat all of Umbrella's B.O.W.'s.
>>744585567Is this the only good magical girl game?
I never knew Kishida was this based.
>>744627935Oh, probably, but Kokoro uses a rifle/firearm, so, a Photoshop with her head would be better.>>744628051Considering the multiple Sailor Moon games only released in Japan, I doubt it. There's also a Madoka Magika Game for PS Vita that, again, was only released in Japan.>>744628052This is fake dialogue of course.
>>744628051There's really not much else out there in the genre I'm aware of, sadly, especially if you're looking for something modern-ish. There were a bunch of licensed magical girl games back around the 4th console generation, and some of them are at least decent, like Sailor Moon: Another Story.
Leader-kun was so cool. Sun ended on such a strong note just for second light to shit on it and kill the series.
>>744628560You jest because even the original game for PC and mobile devices came after Second Light (more than a year later).
>>744628051I've been looking for some too. Recently found this game which is basically Fire Emblem with Magical Girls. It's pretty good but be warned, there are Mahou Shonen in this game.https://shinmahoutradesp.blogspot.com/2025/03/shinsetsu-mahou-shoujo-english-fan.html
>>744628560>Sun ended on such a strong noteDid it even have an ending until Quartet? What'd they do with the story once it original EoS'ed?
>>744623226>>744623812>>744594319Cope and seethe
So I've finished both Ray and Sun now. I'm unsure if I will replay through 1 and second light. They were both pretty bad but it just reinforces how bad second light was for me. So much of Sun is just ignored entirely in second light and they didn't bother to edit the game at all for this rerelease. This series is just cursed.
So Koei Tecmo has some specific illustrations they're making merch for at the upcoming Comiket. There's one for Hianko. It features her in wet clothes. You know, the visual effect they removed in Quartet?
>>744629932it was removed in second light before quartet.
>>744585567so how do i play the uncensored version?
>>744630026It gets better. The full art with backgrounds features the logos for the games they're promoting. You've got Yumia, Ryza 3, Sophie 2, the mobile game. All their most recent games. Hinako's art isn't promoting Quartet. That's the original game's logo.
>>744630107KT didnt delist the original games for once so they are still active in the KT roster for whatever reason.
>>744628698I've been meaning to try that for a while now. There aren't really a whole lot of SRPGs I enjoy these days, though, so there's a good chance the gameplay won't do much for me.
I find it hilarious they create merchandise like this to promote the series but try to detatch the games from any kind of fanservice. What is the actual point of being a fan of the series at this time? How much more betrayal can I take?
>>744628051Well. There was Girl's Lovecast, which was unbelievably kinobad
Ryza is getting an official AI chat app. Perhaps Blue Reflection can get something too.
>>744631006they should just let the series die. in hindsight i respect marvelous for killing senran kagura now. seeing a beloved series lose its way and become a laughing stock is not good for anybody involved.
Another day has gone by without my copy for the Nintendo Switch being shipped. Oh well...
Is this NTR?
>>744631506This is good friendship.
LIME!
Left or right?
Oh, the thread has been a bit active.>>744630041You just get the original version individually. Even if you don't want or don't know how to pirate it, Blue Reflection for PS4 and PC is still available.
>>744631697I like both, but if I had to pick just one then Yuzu.
>>744631125If it's not shipped in less than 4 more days It's be worried, for now, have hope.>>744631659The one of the OP? There is more Lime in the thread.
I just finished the first game in Quartet, second time playing it throughIt hit even harder this second time around, the entire last section of walking around the school talking to everyone one last time while the main theme plays and you prepare to fight the last sephira and send off Yuzu and Limejust had absolutely sobbing while trying to manage all the new fragments. The game's truly something special to me despite all the faults
>>744631697Both
>>744631697Right, I think.
>>744631697
>>744585567I'm done beating around the bush and coping for a sale/decensoring mod. Here, I did a thing.
>>744612561>Now it's just a worthless island full of cucks and slaves.>upset he cant look at child porn
>>744633574I hope you like them!
>>744633667I love JRPGs, hebes, and I'm a pushover for good music, so most likely I will.
>>744633574you should have waited, quartet has a pretty neat reference mode that fills out with each game you play.
>>744633574There's also a unique gallery mode.
>>744633837>>744633864And if you wait a little longer you can find all that stuff on a wiki
>>744633759Well... I don't use the term "hebe" but it's true that only Yuzu, Lime, Ako, Fumio, Yuki and maybe Alesia Yu look like one maybe (Kei is just a flat tomboy for example). There are some characters with small breasts in the franchise, if you like that, that's another thing that the games more or less have...most characters in the series have medium or even large breasts.
>>744633913then why bother playing any videogame if you are just going to go to the wiki or youtube for everything? i don't understand this zoomer mindset of just consuming everything about a game series but never actually playing them.
>>744633837Waited for what? Quartet is already proven to be mediocre and not worth waiting for. The two main games are censored and the other two are low effort filler. These little extra features are irrelevant to me.>>744633925Would it have made more sense if I just said JK? Hebe is just a teenager-like body to me. Breast size isn't a factor for me. Big, small; I like it all.
>>744634051only the first game is censored, second light came censored when it launched so you aren't missing out on anything with its quartet version. also blue reflection 1 offers a new translation that is better than the original. every entry has its pros and cons. the ultimate version would be br1 with the new translation, that's a mod that people should work on instead.
>>744634051I suppose "JK" or "high school student" would have made more sense or work better.
>>744634051>>744634145well actually i forgot about all the missing DLC in quartet. its debatable if any of it is really worth it, I remember second light having some good Uta moments in the dlc but none of it was great in the first game unless you want all the girls to attend class in bikinis.
>>744634145Not including all the "problematic" DLC is a form of censoring in of itself. The new translation for BR1 would've been nice I guess but I've settled for less in other spheres. If I like the franchise enough and feel like supporting it a bit more then I'll get quartet, but as it stands, the extra QoL features, new translation, extra modes, and adaptations of sun and ray only sound good on paper and are not worth it for me. >>744634269You're forgetting the crafting improvements from the DLC that were omitted in BR2.
Sarasa.
>>744634321>You're forgetting the crafting improvements from the DLC that were omitted in BR2.The game is piss easy and having those broken items makes the game even more braindead. Also for what it's worth all the dlc files are still probably in the game so it's only a matter of time if somebody is curious enough to unlock them somehow.>>744634331post Ako
>>744634432I don't have an image of Ako.
>>744634432I'm not sure how I feel about you downplaying the more complete version of BR2. If anything, it all sounds like cope to me that Quartet was a wet fart.
>>744634549my issue with BR2 is that it was just a bad game overall and the DLC didn't do much to improve any of it. 2 could have been improved a lot in quartet if they changed the game up to reflect the story of Sun but I bet nothing was changed.
>>744634605Funny you say that when it's generally agreed upon that it's better than BR1.
>>744634432>>744634321I think I saw that all the dlc of 1 has been restored via mod alreadySomeone made a mod to unlock hard+deathwish for first play in Tie as well

>>744634647gameplay wise yes. story, music, setting no. the only thing that made br1 stand out was its atmosphere and story telling and all of that is absent in 2. and the funniest thing about 2 is that the gameplay is mediocre and they did absolutely nothing with the improved combat and gameplay mechanics. second light never even comes close to the atmosphere and writing of the first game.

>>744635002anons here the other day said theres no easy way to do thatrestoring the dlc is still a nice improvement regardless though
>>744635002theres people on the ayakamods discord trying to fix the censorship issues but its going to be more than just model swaps if you want it to be 1:1 like the original. they changed some camera angles and put objects in the way to block some things. who knows how far they can actually take it to restore the game.
>>744635205It's probably easier just to make the launcher launch the original Blue Reflection
>>744635194With all that being said, I guess, quartet is the better experience for a new player.
>>744634849Also this dude has worked on decensoring the translations of the Xenoblade games so I'm familiar with his works.
$245 for 1+2 with all the dlc vs the $50 of quartet.Idk how much you value seeing naked JKs but the price difference is quite steep.

>>744635617Taking into consideration this >>744634849 and >>744635616 I refunded the original games and purchased quartet. I'll wait until these mods are in useable state before I start my playthrough though.
>>744635617I finished 1 in Quartet and it really did remove kind of a lot of scenes, it removed enough that I think the mid-game pacing is actually impacted for the worse. It's still mostly there admittedly and by the end what makes it special shines through still, but I don't think the quartet version improves it in even a single way. it looks worse, runs worse, has less content to the point that it feels worse to play, it's censored, even the translation changes feel hit or miss at best even outside of the ones done for censorship. Hopefully they keep the original BR up and still have it on sale sometimes ever, though I kinda doubt either
>>744635836I think this makes sense, as much as I love the original game 60$ for just it is steep and the DLC at 80 is completely insane, it's just outfits for a 2017 vita game
>>744634849Update
>>744636239im glad i played through ray and sun first. i'll give the mod a try when it releases. not sure if i'll wait for the uncensor mod given the circumstances.

>>744636406I see. For me, I have a backlog of games to chew on for a long time so I can wait to play a more definitive experience.
>>744635616Speaking of mods for the original games, is there any chance of getting the speed modifiers into the originals, particularly Second Light?
>>744636471i've already played the first game twice so I'm kind of indifferent about censorship changes. I am kind of curious to see their curated version and how they intend for new players to view the series. it's most likely shit but i'm not in a rush to wait around for a mod to restore those scenes since I already have the first game for that already.
>>744636395artistic nudity is allowed on youtube
the ray recaps really bad huh. Ray itself was fairly bad already I think, but this is a bad version of that even, even having seen it it was hard to follow and it skips most of what's actually worth knowing from it anyway (I could not believe Uta only got one mention)
>>744637741Ray in quartet is terrible. It does nothing to actually explain the story. It skips over way too much and doesn't even bother to establish any of the characters or setting. Sun isn't much better. It's kind of embarrassing they included those front and center as a highlight of "quartet". Hosoi is probably preparing a dogeza video to apologize to whatever fans he has left.
>>744637895Seeing 3d Ruka was neat (seriously why was she not in Tie already)but that's about all I can say good about itI wish they'd just turned the entire anime into a visual novel, it'd still be kinda lame but at least it'd properly cover the material

>>744644786I stared at it some more, and I feel like a few things stand out though this is by no means a real comparison, I'm just comparing how it feels after doing 40 hours on quartet the past few days:ALL cloth physics or similar stuff are just better, hair, capes, any flowy bit looks better, I feel like this makes some animations (Averse Belier and Lumiere Cancer stood out) work better and feel less stiff.Transparent parts look betterLighting is superior, things aren't quite as bright and I feel like the original had deliberate lighting on specific moves (Averse Belier felt especially notable here) that enhanced the animation and was lost when they broadly changed itI'm not sure what's wrong with Quartet but the dreamlike softness characteristic of the original is subdued as well, maybe some kind of aliasing problem?I also had forgot just how badly translated it was originally, half the fragment effects are just flat out wrong, so that was actually a good change

It's simply laughable that a thread gets deleted for "being a general" yet the catalog looks like fucking garbage 24/7. It stops being funny and becomes sad when retards like you want mods to keep banning vidya threads.
>>744670214I don't know. But it's clear to me there is a united and calculated conspiracy to control media.
>>744670818>it's simply laughable that a thread gets deleted for "being a general"This board has so many actual generals it's not even funny.
>>744670257Sun is the real sequel and followup to BR. It makes a lot more sense given the bullshit we got in SL.I only wish we could have got Sun as a real game instead of just a demo thrown together with a bunch of assets. Having another blue reflection game in a real school with actual politics and scheming from all the outside factions going on would have been peak. Sun really had so much potential but it was doomed from the start since it was a gacha.
>>744595440>Ar Tonelico>more popular than BRBruv, when was the last time we had a dedicated AT thread? I think never. I tried making a few and they died. BR survives to 400 quite often thanks to a few based hebeanons pic-bumping regularly.

>>744673438I wish they just gave Sun a gender selection option since the MC isnt even voiced except the MC's entire personality is that "hes a guy in an all girls school"
>>744673349
>>744673438I wanted the male mc and his role actually fits really well in Sun. I actually played Sun a bit before it got EoS and his role to regulate the girls emotions and go on dates with them wasn't that much different than what Hinako was doing in the first game. Leader-kun's ability was to dive into the girls much like Ar Tonelico so it would have been great to have the aspect of diving outside of heartscapes. I'm also curious about his past because I'm sure he's seen some shit.
>>744673532I suppose its more like a rebuild of the game, with a retranslation of the script. They're fixing a lot of small bugs that were still in the retranslation, and they added features like a history log, sped up text and funnily enough jumping although its just cosmetic. And a properly rebalanced hard mode since the one in the retranslation was just stat bloat. The original translator is on the project too so its more like a V3
>make shiho gay>ignore her love interest in the next game entirely>get cucked by some rapist with no moralswhat's the point? The yuri in the series always feels so hollow and fake. i would feel bad for yuri fans but then i remember they are creatures that lose their shit and start crying happily as soon as they get any kind of pandering in their niche fetish.
>>744674048How is the couple in Second Light so "hollow and fake"? What would be good yuri to you?
>>744673574It would have been funny if the reason everyone ended up accepting him was that he was actually a girl all along. It would explain just about everything.
>>744673574I wish they made him dress up like a girl at least.
>>744674985the yuri in SL was bad because after their arc you got like one or two events of them pretending to be in love with eachother. meanwhile ao could go on dates with them just like any other girl. their interactions between eachother mostly returned to normal as if nothing ever happened. good yuri would be them actually becoming a couple and supporting eachother instead of just fading into the background to irrelevent characters. them becoming a couple was so irrelevent that it could have been removed from the game entirely and nothing would have changed.>>744673574BR established that only girls could have powers because of their unstable emotions. leader-kun being a boy with powers is what makes him interesting because he's an anomaly. making leader-kun a girl would diminish the importance of the character.
>>744675740It kind of sounds like you want something that is explicitly yuri from the start (Nights of Azure, Secret Kiss is Sweet and Tender...) and not necessarily something with surprise yuri like sequel and characters frequently saying that "x" characters are a couple or multiple instances of "I love you". Having said that, while it's true that after the declaration of love or when the love one of them has for another girl is revealed that part of the game is mostly put aside, I defitely disagree that it "could have been removed from the game entirely and nothing would have changed", the love between then is an important part of their character and those two Heartscapes themselves, it's an important memory for them to the point that two specific maps are more or less recycled, remove that part of their character and it's not the same, it wouldn't have the same emotional impact with those scenes, the Heartscapes and the music.
>>744676785They're not going to add him as a BR character lol

I finally got around to playing Second Light (the original, I don't have Quartet). Any must-have fragments or talents I should go for?
>>744665275It's KT imposing the censorship from within and it's Gust's fault for selling out to them instead of staying independent.
>>744690920Fragments that grant immunity to status effects and that make it easier to knock down enemies are recommended. That said, pretty much every fragment is good, only the ones that say "increases the likelihood of being attacked by the enemy aren't recommended.
>>744690920It's not worth worrying about too much if you aren't playing on the unlockable Ao Must Die difficulty. Ether recovery speed is good for every character, though.
>>744680520She looks like she has something planned.
Beat the original first game today. All the talk about censoring is amusing me since it has some scenes of sincere romantic confessions, nearly nude scenes, lots of thin underwear, wet t-shirts, and one scene where someone gets groped onto the ground, and the girl gets so turned on she goes rampant and it's implied it's her horniness and/or romantic feelings they are dealing with.Spent 46 hours doing almost everything. Great atmosphere, emotions, music, sincere writing, and a gut wrenching bittersweet ending that left me empty but hopeful. Cried several times around the end. It accomplishes a lot despite it's obvious limitations. My favorite character is Yuzu, and she felt broken despite I didn't build her offensively but could still slaughter bosses almost by herself on normal. I liked how much personality she had and her playful nature. I found her attachment to Hinako very endearing.
This order is a load of shit.
>>744692818Good post! And yeah, the original game has fanservice in scenes that are optional and are also part of the story. More than anything else, it's a beautiful and emotional game that always makes me cry during the ending and/or credits. As a game, Blue Reflection is good at best, but as a story or experience, it's amazing, and putting aside that it's not apropriate for everyone (It's a game rated PEGI 16, CERO C T for Teen etc for a good reason), if there is a game that makes me say "everyone should play this game", that game is Blue Reflection, AT LEAST the first game.
>>744692818they removed a lot of scenes in this release for 1 so yeah all this complaining about censorship is justified.
>>744692818It has its flaws, and clearly had to be cut back in scope from what the developers originally envisioned, but the game's strong points are enough to make it memorable. I actually ended up dropping Blue Reflection the first time I tried it, but a few facets of it stuck with me for years afterwards, and I ended up giving it another chance and really enjoying it.Hinako herself was my favorite character, but Yuzu was #2. I like the dynamic between Yuzu and Lime: Yuzu openly embraces childish things and is playful and energetic, but behind that she's actually pretty emotionally mature and introspective. Lime tries to project an image of maturity and cold, calculated pragmatism, but is actually much less mature than she appears.>she felt broken despite I didn't build her offensivelyI'm kind of curious about how the character balance would pan out if the game were more difficult. Lime's cheap-but-devastating area attacks usually had the most impact against bosses in my playthroughs, but I suspect Yuzu's support abilities would be really useful against stronger opponents.I think the fragment system is a really interesting way to customize characters, and it's a shame the game doesn't provide much incentive to experiment with the mechanics.
>>744692598A little more detail and the bikinis are accurate.
>>744692818>>744694468I would've liked it a lot more if not for the plot shitting itself at the end with the final boss going MUH INSTRUMENTALITY for no reason and which didn't even make sense with how the Common worked. Would've been better if his plan was to foster stronger human emotions by making himself an enemy of humanity.>I think the fragment system is a really interesting way to customize characters, and it's a shame the game doesn't provide much incentive to experiment with the mechanics.Yeah the battle system mechanically is great, the problem is that even on the hardest difficulty everything so easy that you still barely need to engage with it. Would've hoped that Quartet would've addressed this rather than putting all their development focus into censoring it.

>>744695929>>744693798Redditor vibes.
>>744696292I don't know if that's good or bad but okay. Regardless, we are talking about Blue Reflection, a game that tries to be sad, emotional or whatever *and* also a game that revolves around the concept of empathy, considering what Hinako has to do in order to stabilize fragments. If Blue Reflection fans give Redditor vibes (whatever that means) or are more progressive than fans of other Japanese games, it makes sense.
>>744696787This works as a reaction image.
>>744697773Aww. I can imagine Ao doing that.
>>744694426Considering that the original versions aren't going anywhere...yes but also not really I guess.
>>744667185LOL.
>>744702631I know that jumping like that is on specific places but...Blue Reflection: Second Light doesn't have a jump button. A case where a game has a jump button but the sequel doesn't...
>>744703968Ao can jump just fine, though, see?>>744602783It's not a significant feature by any means, but I do like the jump animation in BR1. I suppose the various obstacle-clearing animations in BR2 are more or less equivalent.
>>744704421Haha, glitches can be funny or entertaining. In Blue Reflection being able to jump is something minor, it's not something like Super Mario 3D World where jumping is something constant and important for the game because it's a 3D plataformer , but it results in more animation than Ao changing her posture because of the Search Mode. Also, Hinako's breasts jiggle slightly when she jumps...
sun's been rushed but kinda interesting, ive particularly enjoyed post her own game high level of self actualization Hinako who came to just solo the problem here for the sake of possibly helping out Yuzu and Lime
Playing through Sun has made me convinced this series is literally cursed, it's insane what a mix of really good and really bad and just baffling decisions it is, if we get a Blue Reflection 3 I dunno what it could even be about anymore and I half expect it'd be like partially the best game ever made and partially the worst thing ever
>>744707868Speaking as someone who hasn't played Sun yet I can't deny that the franchise is a mess and is a victim of mismanagement...so much controversy (the censorship of first game is "damned if you do, damned if you don't" but there's more than just that), bad or weird decisions...but also some truly great things. If we ever get a genuine Blue Reflection 3 or new game developed specifically for consoles and PC...who knows what kind of game it'd be, or what story it'd have.
>>744707868For better or worse, if the series did continue, the ending of Tie provides a very good opportunity to essentially reboot things. I think that would potentially be a good idea, since I think having multiple projects being worked on concurrently caused the overarching plotline to become kind of a mess in some ways. I'm also personally not very fond of much of anything that was added to the setting after the first game.
I can't decide how I want to play through Tie, I kinda want to see the first loop before the second againbut I doubt I have enough vigor to do two full playthroughs
I wish Alesia was in Tie now i want her to talk to Shiho more
>>744708508>(the censorship of first game is "damned if you do, damned if you don't"They could've just made a censored console version and uncensored PC version and pleased all camps while calling out the parties responsible but that wouldn't align with their internal ethics committee.
>>744709434Cases like Super Neptunia RPG (a little censored on PS4 worldwide, uncensored on other platforms) are rare now...nowadays multiplatform games have content parity/it's just one version besides possible differences in graphics or performance.
Can the collection be decensored on PC or is it just fucked?
>>744709434more like that wouldn't fit with them being willing to put any real effort into this collectionQuartet could've been so much better
>>744709706People have already said that it would be very difficult to decensor the collection if it's possible at all. It's easier to get the first game and Second Light individually and just play those games, with or without mods.
>>744628709Quartet IS what they did with the story genius
Play Tie twice, once normal second deathwish and true endingPlay Tie once, but mod in deathwish+true endingPlay Tie twice, but mod in deathwish+then do true ending on easy mode on a very minimalist replay
>>744712996mod in true ending, it's genuinely like 30s extra scene that doesn't warrant a full playthrough otherwise
>>744713280Doesnt the scene with the final boss change too? Its been 4 years I cant remember exactly
>>744689575Some of the Sun OST is played in Q Sun but some tracks are never played despite apparently being in the game files according to data minersIt's a shame, they should have used "Soul on Fire" at least once https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6F-0Pk7rstM
>>744585567Alright I have no idea what a Blue Reflection is but what's the best way to play this shit for maximum lewd?Is the vita release good? Always looking for an excuse to play vita.
>>744707868iirc there are still a few Sephiroth on the Tree of Life that have never appeared in BR. They could also use the Tree of Death I guess? As long as they wrap it up in a new setting and mix up the gameplay I'm sure they can easily make a new BR that can at least be as good as previous entries.
>>744713447Me neither, all I remember is Uta and her whale tail at which I kept staring at throughout that extra scene.
>>744713537Vita release is horrible, lighting / shadows are severely downgraded to the point that it genuinely ruins the atmosphere. Whatever you do, just don't go for the Vita version
>>744713893Welp, fuck. PC it is.
>>744713447afaik the changes are: pre-boss fight scene changed (shadow Ao scene), (short) extra scene right before the credits, (short) extra scene at the very endThe main benefit of NG+ imho is getting to see all dates through to the end for closure, since you can't do that with just 1 playthrough
>>744713537The first Blue Reflection was censored pretty heavily in Quartet, so if lewdness is a priority the original release is preferable. I haven't tried the Vita version personally, but I've heard it both looks and runs significantly worse.>>744713460That does stand out a bit from BR1 and 2's battle themes.>>744713687Given how BR2 ended, there are plenty of directions they could take the series if they were so inclined. I don't have a whole lot of faith in Gust's will or ability to pull off something like that well these days, though.
>>744714076You think br3 will happen? I wish they remade ar tonelico too, or at least didn't stop the Atelier chibimakesI hate the lack of magical girl games because retarded japanese mothers made up their daughters crying when some Precures were fighting
>>744714076>I don't have a whole lot of faith in Gust's will or ability to pull off something like that well these days, though.Considering how lazily put together Quartet is, yeah agreed
>>744714070>The main benefit of NG+ imho is getting to see all dates through to the end for closureYeah, that was the main benefit of doing a second playthrough for me as well. BR2 is one of those rare games where I like the whole cast, so I was interested in seeing everyone's events.
>>744714070>>744714208You cant finish everyone in one go? is that why my save file only has 2 people at talent 10? dang i guess i might end up ng+ anyway I do want to see everything too yes i remember it was really good but its been too long i got the mod working so I guess ill deathwish completionist first play and then clean up the dates on ng+
>>744714158>You think br3 will happen? On the one hand, they've poured a lot of effort/resources into building up the Blue Reflection brand, and they're likely hesitant to abandon that. On the other hand, that effort arguably hasn't paid off especially well so far, and Gust seems to be reaching a point where their development costs are high enough that they don't think they can sustain themselves by appealing to niches and selling ~100k copies anymore. As such, it's not inconceivable that it could continue, but the prospects of the series aren't especially good. It also doesn't help that Asano is gone, and I'm not sure if Kishida Mel has much interest in continuing it.>I wish they remade ar tonelico tooI like Ar tonelico, and I think it would be a shame if they felt the need to "sanitize" it like they did Blue Reflection in Quartet. In any case, Ar tonelico has some sort of rights issue that prevents Gust from doing anything with it because it was made in collaboration with another company. It is a shame that there aren't more magical girl games around.>>744714338I think I maxed out Uta, Kirara, and Hinako on my first play-through. Thankfully, maxing out everyone on a second playthrough is pretty trivial.
i love this game so fucking much, but the sequel kinda just shat on the tragic ending of the first by bringing them back
the first game other than mao was a top tier cast
>>744715258I like Second Light, but in some ways I do wish it was more self-contained, because I don't especially care for how it connects to the first game.>>744715370She's not one of my favorites by any means, but I actually appreciated how different Mao was from the other "social link" characters, with a relationship built more around begrudging respect and understanding than friendship and affection. At the very least, I found her more interesting than Track Girl and Tennis Girl.I also liked how Yuri's events were structured differently than anyone else's, and how she actually interacted with the rest of the cast.
Hinako is my favorite gloomy cripple in all of videogames!
>>744715370Ako was my favorite. I'd give her a big scoop if you get what I mean.
>>744715258I've read something like this before. I like the sequel but I understand not liking what it did regarding story.
>>744718357She doesn't have much competition if it's "gloomy cripple", but I love her too.>>744718601Ako has funny scenes, I like her a lot. Sarasa or Ako, who's the best character with red hair in Blue Reflection?
>>744719740I am a big time Sarasa enjoyer but Ako is tough competition
>>744719740Sarasa is too bitchy so Ako is an instant win for me. I also really like the proactive reporter types, she seems like she would always be up to some whacky shenanigans.
Is it possible to write a coming of age story in the year of our lord 2026 without upsetting some kind of ideological activist?
>>744720090No because those creatures live terminally online and are obsessed with extreme progressive ideas that do not resonate at all with the mainstream. The amount of tourists jumping in on the persona series just to complain that it doesn't fit their western politics is insane. I'm really tired of Japanese media being hijacked and changed just to fit an audience that doesn't care for it in the first place. The entire reason why I got so invested in Japanese media was because of what it was and now it's getting watered down and sterilized for the "global" market.
why are us blue reflection chads so discriminated against bros?
>>744720258Censorship of Blue Reflection games isn't new. Things happen.
Is there any enf in these games?
LGBT tranime slop
>>744721495An embarrassed female character not wearing clothes I guess. No, the closest thing is Hinako embarrassed when she's in her underwear in front of other girls (collage posted above, left part of the image down >>744588452). Usually a character in the series isn't embarrassed by being naked or in her undies, which makes sense.
>>744718012Cool.
>>744723103Hmm. That's a turn off. I think I'll pirate instead of paying.
>>744725564Okay. If you play it I hope you like it.
>>744715347She looks great with that outfit.
>>744716348Hinako, Ao, Rena, Kokoro, Yuki and Shiho.
>>744725963Thanks, I'm still looking forward to it.
Why do jannies let this trash stay up for days? Are they brown incels just like the posters spamming this sewage?
>>744729451It's related to video games. The real question here is why do you jump to conclusions.
Curing Rena's lesbianism by having sex with her!
>>744641297Senranbro...
>>744731174Rena's butt in official art, it was intentional, definitely.
>>744732118Hundred Line bros we WON
Time for a few images of Blue Reflection characters wearing one piece swimsuits!
Why are the best girls never playable?
>>744732118god, i wish xsneed could just die and close for real.
>>744737368That's a lot of Utas, scary...>>744737469I don't know, it's just your opinion that the best girls aren't playable...but yeah, I love Yuki and Kirara, not to mention other girls that aren't playable. Yuki's panties can be considered cute and she clearly wears basically the same panties that Sarasa wears in the first game.
>>744738262
>>744737469in her case it's actual plot relevant reasons. in Mio or Uta case it's pure retardness.
>>744738342Yeah. What she wears makes sense then.
the game flopped so hard it mindraped the fanbase
Apparently the translations are fucking dogshit. Is the japanese easy? I think I could play it with an overlay
>>744739285Basically, yes, Hinako is basically a magical girl.>>744739406Which one? The gacha game or Blue Reflection Quartet? We still don't have nunbers for the collection I think, so, in one or two days it may or may not appear in the top 30 of Famitsu sales. I'm not expecting much but we'll see.>>744739740Nice.
>>744737469Playable Yuki and Uta would have been fun additions.
>>744737469I haven't gotten to second light yet but her and the fatty girl sound like they are super fun. They're just supporters?
>>744740886Yuki is not a playable character but Kokoro is playable in the prologue, so, always available as a playable character if you want her in the battles.
Lesbians don't exist, it's only angry women that hate men.
>>744741759I'm surprised how many references there are to guys in the first few dates in Second Light. It's always Ao bringing it up, too.>Teases Shiho about guys hitting on her>Can suggest to Yuki that there should be guys fanning them at the beach>Can tell Rena she wants a robot boyfriend
>>744742249Quartet is just proof yet again that nobody at Gust or KT knew how to handle the IP after the first game. Blue Reflection 1 was a passion project similar to Ar Tonelico among a bunch of friends and staff at Gust. Everything after became a corporate product that lacked any vision or soul. They didn't even care to attempt to recapture anything that made the original special. If they ever make a Blue Reflection 3 it needs to be entirely set in a normal school setting. I would personally prefer to see Kishida's original vision of having a male mc and how he originally wanted the series to be. Fuck the yuri tourist fans, they aren't a fan of Blue Reflection, their only loyalty is whether or not it has yuri.
>>744742837I guess I'm not a fan of Blue Reflection because I like the yuri in the series and/or I want female protagonists in the series, even though I like the series since the original game. I agree that the series is a mess and that first game has "something" that the rest of the series couldn't replicate, but the idea of a male main character in Blue Reflection...no. Unless he's at least voiced like the rest of the cast, I don't want that.
>>744743817I see the edit, good one. Hinako wearing that pin/badge (related to ESG or something).
My copy for the Nintendo Switch has arrived at a carrier facility in Hong Kong. Time will only tell when it makes it to the States.
>>744744550The game she's holding should be Quartet, though.
>>744744701It would be more fitting, that's for sure. Maybe a Photoshop with the PS5 version.
>>744742837I don't have strong feelings about yuri either way (and I find it weird that people turn this into a tribalism thing where you're either a diehard yuri fan or hate yuri,) but I would prefer not to see a male protagonist. The series is about magical girls, and having the protagonist not be directly involved in what the series is actually about seems like a bad idea to me. It would be like if there was an Ace Combat game where the protagonist was a mechanic who sat back at the base during missions, and after the pilots returned they gushed about how they never could have sank CV-kun if mechanic-san hadn't duct-taped 150 missiles to each of their planes. It's fundamentally unsatisfying to have the focal point character removed from the action like that, and it makes them feel forced and tacked-on.I'm completely fine with Vayne in Mana Khemia, for example, even though he's a male protagonist in a series that usually has female ones, because he's still an alchemist in a game about alchemists. He's not some sort of alchemist supporter/cheerleader that everyone has to desperately pretend is really important and involved.
It's funny that in Blue Reflection Quartet, thanks to the censorship of the first game in the collection, the scenes where Hinako is taking a bath don't look like this official art anymore... it's an image that represents how Hinako looks during those scenes more or less, but only in the original game for PS4, PC and even PS Vita to an extent.
So what you're telling me is to buy the original...
how tf did this thread reach the bump limit... is it all just botposting?
>>744746704It's up to you to decide. Even more censorship but the collection has more content and features (missing DLC aside) and a new translation for the first game, the original version, the DLC is available and it has the original content.
>>744746848The same bikinis that Yuzu and Lime wear in Blue Reflection. They look good with them.
>>744747023No, you severely underestimate the power of a few dedicated autists when they apply even a minimal amount of effort.
>>744747258why can't we have them in other gustge threads? is it all just coom?
>>744747419There aren't other Gust threads, as already mentioned, there isn't even an Atelier and Gust general right now, and personally, I don't plan to make another thread of those. Then again, I also don't plan to make more Blue Reflection threads after this one.
>>744747091Consider the mods that are in the pipeline for quartet
Well, another Blue Reflection thread that reached the bump limit.>>744747023lol no.
>>744744568I hope you receive your copy.
>>744748159Oh wow...
I feel like these threads are me and like 3 other anons (and some schizos sometimes) but I like themAlso I want to sniff--you know the drillAnyways, shoutout to the anon who makes collages of the girls' underwear and even discussed it with me before
Is second light any good? I see there isn't partial nudity on the rating label.
>>744748281Fanservice? Well, the game lets you put most characters in one piece swimsuits if you so desire. The busty characters show their cleavage with those swimsuits and some Reflector outfits are revealing too.
>>744748231I've made collages that involve the underwear of Blue Reflection characters but not all of them, the post above that says that Hinako is the best girl wasn't made by me (>>744588452), did you make that one?
>>744748650Nope that wasn't me, It was my first post on the thread actually, I was lurking the whole time. Love the collage though.
I like Hinako.
>>744748792I see. So, another collage made by someone else.
>>744748928You and me both.Anyway, the thread is going to be archived soon...I can't wait to play Blue Reflection Quartet, for now, I'll go play Blue Reflection: Second Light. Bye everyone!
