But, it's nice to see a large Joestar group again, and the MacGuffin this time around is kinda interesting, especially since all of them got destroyed so everyone's looking for a new one now. It's the most classic Jojo part post the universe reset, so it's a nice return to form. The only other thing is that he really isn't making punch ghost stands anymore, they're mostly just superpowers now, but that's been the case since Part 7 anyway, so whatever.

I get what he was going for, but I think even Araki loses interest where the final arc begins with a flash forward but by the time it ends the flash forward never actually happens. The villain is also a surprise villain so he has very little development only in the last arc. The actual boss stand is cool, a lot of the imagery is great, I like that the attack finally gets him combines the protagonist and heroine's abillity, and that the fight is functionally fought on two fronts. There's a surprise flashback that's quite good at the very end ala Sleeping Slaves. But the thing as a whole just drags on forever and nothing meaningful actually happens besides beating a guy that just showed up.
