He'll then imply that the MC can relate to the feeling of having a deep anger fueled by a deep love for someone. He doesn't specify who the person is.But then if you do Orochi's quest and speak to Kushinada after accepting the quest and before killing the orochi she will say "I too fell in love with a protofiend" to the protag.Those are both new things that were added in the rerelease though. The trick to Shiva is to have a single demon with Reflect or better yet Drain Phys, then leave Ganesha alive for the whole fight. Shiva is smart but Ganesha is dumb and opens almost every turn with critical wave regardless of resistance, so you will effectively neuter Shiva's turns instead.
