The funniest thing about Robin Hood is that the original story wasn't about stealing from the rich to give to the poor. It was about taking back money that the government took in taxes and giving it back to the common man. It's kind of funny how the "steal from the rich to give to the poor" serves both the self-interest of petty, common bandits and the government simultaneously, while the original legend is against both common banditry and governmental over reach.
