Most Rockstar games have simplistic but OK plots where the problem is that sometimes the plot just takes a backseat for a looooong time and you end up playing dozens of missions for some randos.But V never felt like it knew what it is going for. Trevor - Michael tension is really the only interesting thing in the story, Franklin is boring as hell, and both main villains (the FBI kook and the asshole billionaire) are utterly fucking forgettable. So, these three criminals meet each other, 2 have some nasty past to figure out, end up doing some heists, meet crooked FBI agents and in the end just kill all those who caused them problems? Yeah, not much of plot.And sure you could also abstract any other plot to sound dumb but stuff like>ex-hoodman comes back to home, sees his old gang fallen into ruin, and gets blackmailed by a cop and must slowly work to save his hoodor>old criminal has to catch or kill his old gangmates to give his family a chance at peaceful lifework much better as driving force, even though SA really tumbles with proceeding with the story at times. But at least the core idea is solid.

Like Michael made backdeal with Davey that was meant to kill Trevor and prison Brad. So, for me, its obvious there should be some fucking interaction between trevor and davey. But there isn´t, at all. And the way Trevor learn about this conspiracy is stupid too. He just comes to Michael house, spontaneously has a hunch something aint right, and then discovers Brad body. But how does finding his body suddenly make it obvious that michael sold them before the heist, or Davey was involved somehow.
