It's basically a whole list of "You did the bare minimum".It's one of those games that feels like if it ever got a sequel it *could* improve upon everything that made it mediocre. If it actually would is a different story but there's a baseline that has already been made and they can just add to it. If anything, Pillars 3 would've been a better choice than this. I know why they went with Skyrim-lite but they obviously don't have the manpower to give us Skyrim-lite.

Avowed was better than Outer Worlds, which somehow got a sequel. Both shoehorned gay companions, but the fish faggot wasn't as overt as the girl in OW. Though the OW girl was arguably the best companion. Avowed's story was better, and that was without me having ever play Pillars of Eternity or whatever. The game was pretty frontloaded though. That final volcano zone was pretty boring.
at this point I just have complete spite toward Obsidian and everything they do.

I tried this on the 1$ gamepass trial and regretted the time I spent playing through the first two acts.Entirety of combat is just a gear check (which color upgrade youre at) and so none of your stats matter at all and the game is easy.AI is bad, Companions are all forgettable, and everything is still just the 2deep4u pillars world and story but without the proper conveyance.It shows just how terrible obsidian has become.
