Set aside any opinions about it not matching the ambience (the ambience was dark moody dissolute Y2K lighting, broccoli-hair) and just discuss how much UE5 slop generally hurts to look at.

It sounds like an incredibly lame and and also nondescript thing to be complaining about. At first. And then you actually look at what a game looks like when rendered in Unreal Engine 5, and it makes me want to throw up.

They key takeaway might not be "UE5" and might be "UE5 and also having no taste / indian outsourcing", but it is the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen. It's shiny garbage.

UE5 isn't a singular art style. Dozens of games made in the engine look different from eachother. This thread is just the 4chan version of being low on reddit karma. Grow up faggot, gameplay matters more anyway.
