little piece of trivia: jagex launched osrs after they saw how popular osrs private servers were at the time, thats why the subreddit is called r/2007scape, 2007scape was the name of the private server everyone was playing on and it got co opted into the actual official subreddit. So if you want it maybe get some motion on a private server first, but I doubt theres much interest

Up to base 85 or 90 you’re constantly doing quests, every skill is a reasonable grind, you’ve got early and mid game bossing. Osrs is pretty fun yo through that point but yeah once you start pushing 95s and 99s the burnout hits hard. I log in every 6 months or so and look at my skills and I just can’t be bothered anymore. Endgame is soulcrushing. Not putting myself through that anymore

whelp i gave rs3 another shot. cant do it. its so fucking boring. i dont even think being a member would fundamentally solve anything. its still just going to be boring rs3.i think im gonna jump ship for osrs. if i cant make it stick either ima just delete my account and be done with rs for good.i think one of my major issues with rs3 is that it is faster than osrs, but for most of the early to midgame it is only marginally faster. meaning it really does become questionable why you arent just playing osrs. the endgame is astronomically faster, but you have to trudge through a lot of slow boring grinds. its not worth it for me.
