Play both games on Spectacular, I believe Ultimate is locked until post-game for 2 and I know for sure it is for 1.

Graphics were impressive and the gameplay changes enough to justify itself. 2 definitely mixes the best of both, but gets snagged on some really cringe shit like the gay dating, or literally anything with Mary Jane, she’s terrible in this series and this game gives her way too much time and tries to make her “just as much a hero!” as spidey. The scene where she gets turned into a venom monster is just a 20 minute “Peter is a massive cuck” fest. Cool fight but just the worst fucking “NOOOO MARY JANE IM SORRY I DIDNT DO DISHES IK SO AWFUL AND YOU DO LITERALLY NOTHING WRONG”. Overall worth playing but if you’re only gonna play one, I’d probably stick with 1. 2 has some really awesome crazy moments, really is a great game just some obnoxious writing
