Too low budget, barebones, and difficult for the casuals.If a fighting game does not have a casual playerbase it dies no matter how fun it might be competitively.Avatar as an IP is also just in a shaky place - it has a dedicated fanbase but its a small one that has basically not gained anyone new in ages.
