It says right here that you haven't posted in an Ace Attorney thread in over a month. Care to explain yourself, Mr. Anon?
>>
Look at your own wikipedia page, man. We haven't gotten a game in a decade!

i mean, capcom stopped making any games. capcom basically stopped making games in all of their good franchises, all you get is sloppily made resident evil games these days. it's really sad how far they've fallen
>>
In my defense there's been a lack of clussy

has anyone thought about recreating breakdowns on realistic styles using AI?
>>
These games were cool when they were murder mystery adventure-lite games. That lasted all of about 3-4 games.

I'd be ok with that.

I hate talking with other people about Ace Attorney. It's all fags, literal or otherwise.

Don't worry anon, I'm a based AA fan.

*fucks you in the ass*
Now you're a fag, Edgeworthless.
>>
>>744623151
I tried investigations 2 but dropped it at the first case because the logic is fucking stupid. Why would I need to prove the gun is the suspect's when he's literally the only one who could shoot the victim in that room? Just hand him to the police at that point.
>>
I've been waiting for my memory to fade so I can play these games fresh again
just a few more years until I can do my AA1 replay
>>

More like maya FEET lol

You're the one who fucked me in the ass buddy. Sounds kinda gay.

>Finished the trilogy
>finished apollo justice
>start the first case for dual destinies some years back
>still haven't completed it
shame
>>
>>744627853
I'm almost done with investigations 1 but the whole thing has honestly felt like a chore. Have I just been reading too many actual books, or is Investigations bad? I've been a bit scared these past few years that I've genuinely outgrown vidya
>>
I haven't talked about mien wife Thena in a minute

What the hell is Shu Takumi even doing these days? GAA was like 10 years ago

It's so bad. Such an insane drop in quality. The animations and models in DD are really good, though.

i only post in maya ntr threads

Investigations 1 was Yamizaki's first game, so it has a lot of growing pains. What makes this game worse is that it doesn't have a lot of high points, so it just feels like you are meandering in a sea of mediocrity. Investigations 2 is quite a bit better, but Yamizaki's quality is quite divisive to begin with. I really didn't enjoy what he did with mainline.
>>
Give me a serious reply on why AA7 isn't out yet.
>>
>>744630148
Capcom can't find a director who want to handle how the series was left in such a huge headache with a gigantic cast of characters, nobody wants to bother.
>>
>>744630148
they just had no idea what to do with the series while developing 6.
The soft "revival" with 5 only contemplated a follow-up game but they had no idea on what to do after that. AA7 should have come out like 2 or 3 years after AA6. It's far too fucking late now for a lot of people to keep giving a shit.
They'd have to do ANOTHER "revival" with AA7 if it ever existed.
>>
>>744630148
Capcom's other games are too successful.
>>
>>744630148
no one cares about VNs anymore
name 5 that came out this year, you can't
>>
>>744623151
i found the second game worse than dual destinies so i will never play the third game, but i've played every other game in the series.
>>
>>744630387
Then you're retarded. Case 2-4 alone shits on DD 100x over, and not playing the third game only to skip to the infinitely worse second trilogy makes no sense.
>>
>>744630303
I know people are usually against reboots, but this is the best time for one.
A Soul Calibur style reboot where they just cancel out the games that started this whole mess, those being AJ and DD.
>>
>>744630374
I'd say hardware becoming too good has hindered a lot of VNs.
Devs cared to make them for handhelds or low-end hardware because they were simpler to develop. Now they have to spend a lot of resources on having to make the game look good and shit to fit the current consoles.
>>
>>744627751
why did the artist randomly include ryutaro in this pic
>>
>>744630542
AA4 was probably the worst time to handle the soft reboot at the time. People were dumbstruck at Phoenix losing his badge, not being in contact with his friends, and Ema being jaded was a huge turn off after the highly satisfactory conclusion from the previous game.

And AA6 still leaves us with a couple of loose ends, like Lamiroir, and Phoenix not telling Apollo and Trucy about their familial connection, instead of focusing on another shitty backstory that was never hinted at before for Apollo.

It probably would be good for a reboot. The series probably needs it and just rip the bandaid off, because the series unfortunately turned a beloved cast into what feels like baggage at this point; but it just doesn't feel like the right time for it.
>>
>>744630885
Tying the loose ends would be the most courageous path to take, but I can see Capcom going with Ryunosuke again as his storyline is clean and allows for further expansion.
>>
>>744628923
Well yeah because the game is practically nonstop courtroom session with little investigation breaks. It doesn't help that due to not having many characters you can immediately guessed who the culprits are with 0 clues.
>>
I'll break my streak to correct you. It has actually been 5 years since I last posted in one of these threads.
