Both Gale of Darkness and Colosseum are dangerously overhyped, shitty games with admittedly good soundtracks.Taking gyms, routes and random encounters out of Pokemon meant that Colosseum is just a short series of constant fetch quests padded out by long hallways (sometimes literal hallways) of drawn-out double battles with a ton of trainers who use low exp-yielding Pokemon to make the end-game harder.Gale of Darkness at least attempted to fix it some, but it's not all that better.The most hilarious part of Gale of Darkness is their>fuck you, your post-game is a tournament of bullshit Pokemon and trainers in a game you can only grind for levels in at Mt.
