It was the best DMC game unironicly. It had a cool and fucking weird style to it. Bosses were memorable. Dialogue was retarded and goofy but alas still highly memorable. The ultimate fuck you I liked it game. It has a bad main quest and the art direction is bland but these are the only valid criticisms. People just didn't understand that it's supposed to be played as an overworld game rather than an open world one because most "gamers" played like 10 games in their life, they lack the media literacy to understand what Bethesda was going for
