I used to look forward to vidya when I was a teenager.
Once I hit my early twenties, it slowed down drastically
The last games I looked forward to were:

If I had to tell you what I'm looking forward to now:

mainly just Dark Heresy i suppose, as a 100% safe bet. loved RT and liked the little taste from closed test already. everything else is wait and see, probably won't even end up liking.

streets of rogue 2, but it will never release. FF HD2D will probably be a decent time. not a Gears guy but looks like they put some effort into E-Day, might be a fun change of pace for me to play a shlocky thirdperson action game. not checked out Solasta 2 yet but looks like it could be good after early access. PoE2 1.0 if they actually add a bunch of classes/skills/weapons will be exciting

further out im sure Divinity 3 will be good, and maybe some Fallout game will... exist.

Other than that, nothing really. The type of kino third person AA action games that were all over the place during the 7th gen like Red faction Guerilla, Nier Replicant and Dragon's Dogma 1 (and Dark Arisen). AAA games are too formulaic and bloated to make them anymore and indie games also are rather formulaic while not having as much funding, so I'm less harsh on them in general barring the devs that make dogshit FoTM games. There's some AA devs in Japan and Europe but the death of the American AA video game industry killed odd a lot of my enthusiasm for newer vidya.
