do you know any obscure zombie games?
>>
Fiddler's green was pretty good. Those creepy crawly ones with the fingernails made an unsettling noise.

that shitty piano loop from the first level is still stuck in my head to this day.

is vein actually about zombies or are they an afterthought like in dayz?

I remember playing this and thought it was the coolest shit ever. the internet told me it was a terrible game though.

Rioad to Fiddler's Green is one of those weird cases where I watch playthroughs of it from time to time. I did play it back then when it came out. It kind of has that shitty Half-life 2 mod feeling to it which makes it comfy to watch.

Are you asking for complete shit by posting Fiddlers green? because these games are fucking terrible if that's what you're asking for.

If you're not asking for a bad game specifically this is basically what we had instead of Project Zomboid back in 2009. I mean Fort Zombie isn't amazing but it was better than most games back then.

If you've already played through the State of Decay games this might give you some entertainment. Although to get the most enjoyment out of Invisible Strain heavy modding is required. It turns the game around significantly under modded conditions (outside that its mediocre) then it basically becomes zombie survival Kenshi.

aka Hellforces.
I've played it 20~ years ago, so I can't really say how well it holds up, but I remember there was dismemberment which was pretty novel (and scary)

i'd play it but the aesthetic is repulsive to me

Stubbs the Zombie i believe is what you're referring to.
>>
>>744643413
I'll fucking kill you faggot. Of course I've played Stubbs. That's like the very first game EVERYONE thinks of when thinking of games where you're the zombie.
you sicken me nigger.

It's a continuation from a failed leaf vidya called Dead Matter. Pretty much your average openworld early access survival sloppa with all the inventory autism that entails. There is a demo you can play to try it out.

Army Men II

The funny thing is the demo is enough to judge how truly trash the zombie simulation part is. It's just another one of those games where you mess around building bases with friends and the "outbreak" happening around you is a complete afterthought because the zombies pose no credible threat. Getting real tired of seeing the supposed "zomboid killers" not doing anything important. I'm not sure if I'd call it a cleverly disguised 7 days to die but it's not far off it. It just has the appearance of deeper systems on top of it.
