If you mean the first from the main questline, use the map (and teleport spells/items) to avoid getting surrounded by the mech minions and kill them first.But you aren't supposed to rush the main questline, you need to gear up (puppy dungeon, blacksmith NPCs, etc.) and get a few levels/stats first.Get platinum coins from quests and train your main combat skills, buy food from inns and food NPCs (like the bakery in Palmia, or the meat seller in Yowyn) that increases the stats you want, consider looking for hidden gold coins in town and buy a bootleg legendary weapon from the dwarf workshop in the snow area (long trip for low level players, but it's worth it if you survive the random encounters), and try to clear a few basic dungeons.

You could try bread too which allows for two flour two seasoning but requires you make wheat. ok KK Generate Settings lets you just make all npcs female. I did not want to have to make a male version for all my sprites so that's real nice to have.
