It has great ideas that are woefully underpolished, and even the worst classic stages never get as insultingly slapdash as Heatnix, Scaravich or Gate 2, all of which border on unfinished.

Nightmare system is a literal nightmare, the levels are mostly poor, but fuck if the atmosphere and music aren't divine. Moody, depressing, and just relentless. Yammark, Turtloid, and Heatnix still stand out these days (the latter for all of the wrong reasons)
