Did Valve actually drop the ball by not making a TF2 TV series?
Yes.Valve is incapable of long-term projects and has been since 2008.Not only have they not produced any more TF2 mini-movies, they haven't even held the Saxxys in over a decade.
In 2007 and 2008 there was almost always a "TF2 cartoon episode ideas" thread up on /co/. People really wanted it.
When I was 10 years old, I personally emailed Gabe Newell asking for a TF2 cartoon series. FAGGOT never answered me

as big as TF2 was, it still wasn't big enough for a full series. If you don't know the game, you are not gonna watch this show. Apparently it also took way too much time to make so they would need too long to even make 6 episodes.
