I grew up in NJ so I just listened to punk rock and classic rock on the radio. Skateboarding is omega gay though. Also now I care about music so little I don't even turn the radio on in my car, it's not something important to me and is more so just background noise that I hear when I enter a Wawa or whatever.
Many people I grew up with had playlists that were 1:1 the track list for guitar hero and rock band
