Honestly it's better than the same fucking lockpick minigame we've had for the last fifteen years. It's still piss easy, but it at least requires you to think a little bit before mindlessly turning. I think using both this pick system and the Fallout3/4/New Vegas/Skyrim system at the same time for different types of locks would be the best usage.
