Yeah its a remake. A brand new game. Not a remaster. It can and shoukd be different to... uhh... different(iate) itself.Its a good game. Really good. But I still think demanding a brand new game share the title of an old game is needlessly confusing and artistically brankrupt.

RE1make killed the branching paths, especially related to Jills story, but also Rebecca. RE2make killed B scenarios and the zapping system. RE3make killed, basically, the whole game. But most importantly the branching events and Operation Jackal. Even RE4make killed the QTEs. There is not a single Resident Evil Remake that took EVERYTHING from the original and ADDED to that.

it's a pretty good game. i like that it's so different than the original so i can go back and still enjoy both for different reasons at different times :)

If they could have properly implemented the A/B scenario style then this remake would have been way better.
