Why do gamers oppose AI generated content but not procedurally generated content? The spirit and motivations behind them are similar.

None of the issues people have with AI exist in procedural generation.

I'm okay with procedurally generated content... sometimes. It can be poorly done and it can be done well.
AI content though, I've yet to see a game that uses it for visual/audio that uses it well. It's all either not even necessary (background radio chatter) or actively terrible.

procedurally generated content comes from a human-authored algorithm. AI generated content is just a mishmash of everything together. there's nothing special or unique about it. also fundamentally nothing new.

any more strawmen for us, AI-jeet?

I don't oppose AI generated content but I do oppose procedurally generated content.
