what do you think about south park videogames?
>>
First one is kino
>>
best games obsidian has ever done
>>
Captain Diabetes was the best character

First one is really good. Second one is okay
>>
>>744678079
Stick of Truth its good
The superhero one is serviceable but doesnt reach the highs SoT does
>>
>>744678561
the second games combats better, the attack grids beats the parryslop of the first game
t. played them both recently
>>
>>744679271
Second game has no Jew class thoughsoeverbeit

Disrespecting Mr Hat is not cool.
>>
>>744679391
yeah but the difficulty being tied to how darker your skin is is the funnier joke (even though we know it’s the opposite in America)
>>
Interactive episodes with one of the more robust South Park OC makers and some fun interactions between characters we dont usually see. Their ok.
>>
>>744678079
Both of them are pure soul

SoT: top tier jokes with decent combat
FBW: second tier jokes with a better combat system
SoT instantly hooked me. FBW took a second playthrough years later for me to truly appreciate it and learn to appreciate it as something that could never quite reach the highs of SoT.
>>
Kinda sad we never got a third one with a different theme (Good Times with Weapons being the obvious choice)
>>
>>744678079
Stick of Truth is great. Fractured But Whole is above average.
>>
>>744680454
First one was about medieval fantasy, second was super heros, martial art stuff is cool but it would probably be a bit more broader, like anime.
>>
>>744680454
i'd rather imaginationland
>>
>>744683669
nah it would be memberberries slop
having freddy Kruger, predator, and jason together was novel for the time and as a kid but the over abundance of it with media multiverse shit ruined it
>>
>>744678079
Fractured but Whole had the better combat, customization, and world exploration while Stick of Truth had the better story and visual set-pieces.
>>
>>744678079
I was bored as fuck by the the time I was going through the dlcs. Stick of Truth being shorter was honestly a good thing going of the sequel.
>>
>>744679271
True but its not as funny as SoT
>>
>>744680454
I always yearned for a pirate game

literally whi didnt they make a new game? all of the games (except that shit snow day one) were massivelys uccessful, no? Is it because the show itself is a walking dead at this point?
>>

Stick of Truth was great. Playing as a Jew actually made the game pretty challenging compared to Mage which was the dominant class because of its damage output. Humor is a little dated, but definitely not as bad as Fractured But Whole
that one just... they shifted to a grid-based movement system combined with strict collision mechanics and directional AOE attacks
because you cant walk through or attack through your own allies, a teammate standing directly in front of you completely blocks your path and line of fire
if your character only has short-range or straight-line attacks, an ally in front of you effectively renders you useless until they move
so the game effectively requires you to physically "fit" into the spatial requirements of the move, if f a move requires you to step forward into an empty square to execute a strike, and that square is blocked by an ally, an enemy, or a piece of cover, the game locks you out of using that ability entirely
and the cutscenes, my god the cutscenes... you have to watch every fart cutscene there is and every buddy cutscene there is
so the end level will look like
>take 2 steps
>obstacle
>call whoever to bypass obstacle
>watch cutscene of this person removing the obstacle
>watch cutscene of them leaving
>take 2 steps
>repeat the process with a different hero
>take 2 steps
>need to use an ability of your own to bypass obstacle
>which has its own cutscene you have to watch
not even an exaggeration, that's how the endgame is just having to use all your gadgets which all have their own cutscene you have to watch

>parryslop
fucking kill yourself retard broken assholes grid system is trash just like the entire game
fucking platinumed that shit in 20 hours without even trying day 1 and returned it the next day, tried to play recently on PC and dropped it when i remembered how fucking shit mephestos lab and the ending are
they literally got rid of the run button because they knew the game was somehow shorter
the only game i've been as disappointed as FBH was KH3
still nothing will be worse than snow day that shit wasn't even worth pirating

SoT is good
FBW is overhated, but not as good as SoT
>>
>>744680454
Firrst game is great, second is garbage
>>
>>744680454
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VILgSsesD0 would be a kino battle theme
>>
>>744698898

>>
>>744678079
