>>744678613To be honest I'd also prefer just getting it over with than suffering through and putting my family through dementia un-personing me, pretty consistently I've heard from people dealing with their grandparents going through it that #1 it was a massive relief when they died #2 would have preferred if they just died earlier so their memories of them wouldn't have been tainted by the whole dealing with dementia thing.
