2 is hot garbage and was rightfully received as such at release. It's a game with some interesting ideas that were horrible executed. I assume the people who glaze it either played it as small children (the game is 18 years old...) or just watched some stupid video on it and never played it.
I still have my wooden collector's edition in a box somewhere. Stores here were practically giving them away because the game was so unpopular.

Picrel multiplayer was so fun. It even had a level editor. I remember I made a map that was nothing but floating boxes connected by ziplines.

Also 3 is good and Primal is an astoundingly average game that I enjoy because being a cave man is a fun gimmick. The rest I'm not a huge fan of.
