I'm on my first Dark Urge playthrough but I'm quickly discovering I do not enjoy being evil. I don't get any enjoyment out of doing any of these "get person killed" options. It just feels like I'm ruining the world and my enjoyment of my own created character. Also unfortunate is I wanted to use less of Astarion and Laezel since I used them a lot on my goody two shoes playthrough, but I'm realizing that's gonna really narrow my field of companion options if I start being perceptibly evil. Can I get Wyll to be less goody two shoes if I let him kill Karlach maybe? I fucking hated her so she's definitely dying on this playthrough.

Maybe because in that game the music gets distorted and the descriptions all start changing to make everything feel 'off' like a creepypasta, and the simple graphics also helps. In this game the world feels unconcerned with whether I'm very kind or horrifically cruel. The same background tracks play and the narrator doesn't change how they describe most stuff. Which makes sense and isn't necessarily a flaw with the game, DnD is in fact a complex world where a lot of evil happens with no fuss basically, but from a gameplay perspective the result is that being evil feels so pointless and small and gross to me.
