the generation who was nostalgic for the 70s made games when hardware couldn't support the graphics or storytelling necessary to portray the era. by the time hardware did get good enough, all those older devs had aged out of the industry and was replaced with late Gen Xers who were more into the 80s. there was a tiny handful of games during fifth gen with a 70s focus, but that's it.

It's by GUN, the same guys who did F13 and TCM. It's going to be fun at absolute worst, but will die in a month due to gamebreaking bugs and them refusing to support it.

I just found out that the Chink devs behind Karma: The Dark World are co-developing the single-player campaign, so if nothing else then the atmosphere should hopefully be on point
