Why does this game have so much complex content that is not only completely dead, but never had any purpose whatsoever? Beer Brewing is an 8 step complex and realistic process in which you can make like a dozen different types of beers and ciders. There are like over a hundred items related to beer brewing, as well as a minigame and multiple quests. Despite this, there is absolutely no reason to ever brew beer at all because the game already has a potion making system that is better in every possible way. There is no reason to ever brew beer.There is a minigame centered around making cats fight rats in an arena. The minigame has an accompanying quest that is very difficult. It has 4 different arenas and various complex mechanics. Despite this, there is absolutely no reason to do it at all. The mini game involve gambling but you cannot actaully make any significant amount of money.Both of these activities are annoying chores and are not enjoyable in the slightest.The game has many different types of weapons, like battleaxes, hammers, maces, scimitars, swords, 2 handed swords, longswords, scimitars, daggers and more. There are 8+ different tiers of material for them. There is absolutely no reason to use any type of basic weapon besides scimitars unless it has a special attack. That is 50+ completely and utterly useless weapons.The devs of OSRS have been doing a pretty good job fixing some of the dead content but it makes you wonder, were the original 2000s devs for this game just completely fucking retarded?
