No, it's very hard to find truly original stuff, for example the music from the Mario games is all copied from old songs. I was very disappointed to learn that Koji Kondo didn't come up with the Melodies himself, just copied old stuff.

in the dma days maybe. but they are quite shameless when it comes to taking all their stories, plots, and characters from other movies and don't really go through the trouble of hiding it.
