What are the best games that deal with "human nature"?
>>
homonculus would be a goofy game. stare into people's deepest darkest traumas and sexual proclivities and relate to them until you realize they're all just you? i doubt it'd go over well
>>
Morimiya Middle School Shooting
Super Columbine Massacre RPG!
Postal
Hatred
Euphoria

Cum eater 2026
>>
probably silent hill 2. it's neat how well they did the environment design. the tragedies and the lingering spirits of the town itself, paired with the cult ritual of silent hill 1, creates a microcosm of psychic reactivity that plays on jame's emotions to simultaneously punish him and help him along. there's really not much i know of that is so cleverly and subtly presented.
>>
>>744699382
This and punpun are cringe, it's like it was written for 14 year olds.
>>
>>744700729
Is it actually worth it to eat your cum? Does it taste good?
>>
>>744700989
From what I understand, a lot of fitness athletes masturbate instead of having sex so they can satisfy their sexual needs and not waste their sperm, which is rich in protein, so yes, there is a benefit in eating cum.
>>
>>744700947
i think a lot of the themes would be lost on a 14 year old. in homonculus, there's some pretty specific fetish shit and i suspect some buddhist elements that would be lost even on adults. punpun is great if you need catharsis about being a weirdo outsider
>>
This manga is fuckin gross
>>
>>744701321
I just started Punpun, would you say it's up there with Homunculus/Ichi the killer? Seems interesting so far

the manga is setting the tone and telling you the character is a narcissist, anon.
>>744701503
absolutely yeah. it falls off around the cult section and the end might be disappointing, but the art is incredible and it'll resonate deeply if you're the target audience

I had around 300$ to spend and I spent it all on manga. I got Goodnight Punpun, Homunculus, and BLAME!.
Did I miss anything? Anything else I should get? And yeah, I'm gonna get the other volumes if I end up liking them
>>
>Homunculus
Essential manga for midwits.
>>
>>744699382
The beginning of this manga was interesting and intriguing and the ending was as good as I suppose it could have been but everything in between was boring and sucked
>>
>>744701996
Uzumaki, Made in Abyss, Hellsing, Devilman for its unintentional comedy.

i think ruina would fit
>what does it mean to be human
way more
>>
>>744702886
you really want to paint the target audience for that manga as 14? the one with a transsexual in it? probably better to leave it as adult content. then again, maybe it doesn't matter
>>
I found it pretty gay, Kiichii and kiichii VS are much more interesting
>>
>>744703016
Is it good?
>>
>>744703148
ruina is an amazing game i highly recommend it
>>
>>744701610
I'll keep reading, the environment art is fucking crazy good
>>
I never want to hear "go back" again. /a/ and /v/ are the same fucking board with twitter bait and bait anime titties.
>>
>>744703183
I'll buy it now, looks interesting
>>
>>744703293
the difficulty is about the same as lobcorp, so vertical. if you beat lobcorp you will feel at home
>>
>>744703380
I haven't played any of their games, is it hard to play?
>>
>>744703498
both lobcorp and library of ruina can get pretty difficult if you don't read exactly what enemies do or the conditions you have to complete, i also recommend playing lobcorp before ruina as they do take place in the same setting and relate to each other
>>
>>744701503
there are some really cathartic moments in punpun, but it meanders a lot and lacks direction. it works as an exploration of alienation and the weird and dirty aspects of coming-of-age. the first half is more grounded and the latter half kind of throws that away for a more romanticized and dramatic story. enjoy it for what it is and don't hold high expectations for the overall quality/pacing.
>>
>>744703627
I'll play lobcrop first, thanks anon. Is it true that it's actually stressful?

>>
>>744703289
Except /a/ isn't full with nearly as many disgusting brownoid """people""" as on /v/
>>
>>744703289
what? if you post twitter shit on /a/ you get banned on site, some with posting frogs and wojaks
>>
>>744705485
Not as consistently as you think. You get plenty of ragebait images that are pulled straight from that shithole. The essence is there.
>>
>>744701503
I read punpun and it didn't resonate for me at all. I think I was too busy and popular. Most of these otaku lonely themes don't hit me because those characters never chose their loneliness.
>>
>>744706221
I dont wanna get too personal on this basket weaving forum, but when I was in school, I also chose my loneliness.
I guess I hung out with the "popular" kids but whenever they would wanna hang out with me, I just wouldn't want to. It's like I was only friends with them because of the social standing. We had no common interests so I didnt really give a shit about any of them outside of that.
But I've still always felt alienated and lonely with my interests. No one liked the shit I liked, no one was at all similar to me, you know how it is. I was always forcing myself to do shit I didn't want to do just to be accepted by them (people I didnt care about). What's funny is in all of that time, I mightve been able to find people that I actually liked. I think I was just a dick in those times.
Is Goodnight Punpun kind of like that?

Desert Bus.

I don’t remember much because I read it a long ass time ago, and, honestly, it wasn’t very memorable. I do remember being annoyed by the weak-willed protagonist. If that kind of character bothers you too, you probably won’t like it.
It’s definitely aimed at a certain type of audience. I know it’s highly regarded as a realistic psychological manga with that prestige “manga literature” designation like Monster. You might as well give it a try and see whether it clicks with you.

Lob corp has a lot of knowledge checks. You're probably not going to beat it the first few attempts, but knowledge carries over as you learn what can basically brick a run like the train, or what gives really good rewards for its difficulty. Lots of things operate on a timer, and keeping the plates spinning becomes harder and harder as more goes wrong leading to failure spirals.
>>
to be a human is to get an erection in the morning and despair as you have no one to stick your cock into and impregnate in a lustful haze
>>
What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets.

>>744706540
Punpun's more like how he gets fucked up from a poor home life
I do think it had a certain way of portraying depression though. I can't quite explain it, it just got me.
