Eh. Does Atari even has any recognizable franchise by 2026? I'm building an edu app and I heard those guys are open to licensing graphics and sound effects, I could do it but I don't think a 6 7 kid would ever recognize anything

I wonder how much of that game revenue is from physical sales? I know obviously all the hardware revenue is going to be related to physical sales, since their hardware line up is clone consoles that take cartridges.

I had to take a look at their website because I legit didn't know what they were selling. Turns out they have new HDMI versions of their old consoles, which makes it even more surprising that such a thing is actually selling enough to include into a financial report for CURRENT YEAR
>>
>82% jump
so they went from 100 console sales to 182 console sales
amazing

There's been a small community of die hard Atari fans making and buying new Atari games since the 90s. Some of them are pretty good. Plus there are people out there that just love collecting emulation consoles.

They actually made a new console back in 2020

I've heard the VCS (the Linux console) didn't sell very well.

It sold okay, the problem was that they launched it during the crypto craze was going on and it completely killed their ability to produce a significant number of units. Any chance for it to come back was killed once AI took over everything.

20k sold

I guess the 2600+ is spared by 2600 emulation being doable by microcontrollers.

How many of the 2600 and 7800 clone consoles have they sold?
