Is there even anything to see anymore? I imagine modern consoles' internals are covered in heatsinks and opaque brick GPUs.

>>744704671nobody bought them. which is why, if you go in a used game store, 90% of the consoles will be in the 'standard' colour of grey/black. even the GameCube I see nearly as many silver ones (which was one of the optional colours rather than the standard one) as I do purple which was the primary colour it was offered in. the only translucent consoles that sold well were the N64 and the GBC.

It's not like clear consoles were that common anyway, most of them were special editions, like the Halo Xbox. Controllers were a different story, I see the clear Playstation one fairly often.
