Today I realized something about my taste in vidya. I only like story heavy games and cozy games. I bought two games to play today on my day off. Doom Dark Ages and Fields of Mistria. After about a hour of playing Doom I got bored with the gameplay and ended up refunding the game. Next when I started to play Fields of Mistria I ended up playing it for seven hours straight. You would think the high level of gameplay would be more interesting in Doom, but it wasn't. I remember the same thing happened to me when Elden Ring came out. I got extremely bored playing it and went off to play Octopath Traveler instead.
