The game has the best feeling mechanics I've ever experienced in my life and because it was so rushed they didn't have time to second guess anything and try to "fix" it by dumbing it down
Though coming from 64 it is an extremely smooth mechanical evolution, I don't know what shit Sakurai smoked with Brawl but Kirby Air Riders proves he still has a mind for tight mechanics that are actually FAST and it's a goddamn shame that they ruined the best game they ever made for the sake of people who don't even fucking play the game enough to understand game mechanics at all
