You now remember The Conduit
OTHER GAME
>>744706730Unfortunate it never got a 3rd game. The hook in 2 was quite something. Some fun gun ideas too and not a bad try on doing a lightgun multiplayer shooter either.
I remember the praise it got for 'looking good for a Wii game', lel.
>>744706506LOL You now remember that post
I actually just beat it last night, intentionally ends on a fucking cliff hanger so I have to get the sequel now. You can tell a lot of thought went into the controls, they were so smooth, you start the game pressing Z just to lock on and then before you know it you have aiming with the wiimote fucking down. Way too short too, like 6-7 hours? A cliffhanger ending? Fuck you Sega, I would give you my money but I want the disc so I'm going on ebay.
Nintendo fanboys were really down bad
>>744706506This sucked, but Red Steel was pretty cool
You are now Imagining Party Babyz
Punch Dimension
>>744706506I remember the sequel dropped "The" from the title as they thought it was too cumbersome.
LOL at the screenshot.Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
online was fun
>>744706506Man, the Wii really did suck ass. I remember being 12 and saving up a bunch of money to finally buy one and I had to cope so hard and convince myself I didn't waste my money.
>>744708236you may not believe me but i was there when that thread happened
>>744706506Wii babies were so starved for games that they really thought this shit was good.
>>744708490It was okay. Pretty cool to see the Wii run the equivalent of a launch 360 title, and the gameplay was there enough.
>>744708406>I remember being 12Have you done anything on the system in the past year? Stop being jaded, it's a perfectly fine system with lots of good games
>>744708706lol ok
>>744706939I still haven't played 2, but I enjoyed The Conduit since I only had a Wii and a shitty PC at that time. The singleplayer was alright with a somewhat interesting gimmick. It was serviceable, and there wasn't much like it on the Wii of all things. The multiplayer was actually pretty fucking fun before it got filled with cheaters, though at least some of them would do fun shit with it like going to maps or using shit you wouldn't normally be able to. Fun game modes and the maps were decent. It even supported Wii Speak, which was cool even though Wii Speak was pretty shit since classic Nintendo can't just give you something like voice chat without having their own weird-ass take on it.Definitely didn't compare to my brother eventually getting a 360 and getting into MW2 lobbies and shit.
>>744708426how has life been anon?
>>744708702Nah, it was just your usual dog shit t for teen shooter on the Nintendo baby bullshit console for the edgy tweens who's moms wouldn't let them play halo. No different than the misplaced nostalgia for Metroid prime because you weren't allowed to play M rated games.
According to the Gamefaqs interview, the guy was sleep deprived and forgot what he even was trying to ask.
>>744708406>I had to cope so hard and convince myself I didn't waste my money. It's the peak of SD consoles you'd attach to a CRT. It can easily pirate basically every worthwhile game you'd care to play (except PS1/2 stuff, but you'd get a PS3 for that)
>>744708490When I first saw this I thought he was hit by a car.
>>744708426So was I. I miss the old timeline.
>>744708971Most accurate 2009 flavored post in this thread.
>>744706506The sequel had some pretty neat guns, especially the invisibility rifle and wallhack sniper. Played the shit out of both Conduits, Onslaught, and Water Warfare back in the day since I was just getting into online shooters but was stuck with a wii
>>744709019Nah. The PS3 played just fine on a CRT. You're coping because your pillbilly mom couldn't afford a real console and you got stuck with a fucking Wii and playing teen games on your gay ass remote while she justifies it by saying that the "PlayStation 3 is the work of the devil, pastor Bryan said so" while she rips a meth pipe.
I remember having so much fun doing the rpg swap glitch with that arm cannon gun and firing 20+ rockets a seconds.
>>744706730All of the day bro
>>744709184You do know a current PC can output to a CRT, are you poor?
>>744709262We're talking TVs, not your honky ass ViewSonic shit playboy.
>>744709160>Onslaught, and Water WarfareHoly fuck I forgot about those games. Water Warfare not as much, but I played the fuck out of Onslaught online for like a whole summer. It's pretty basic but there was something kind of addicting about it.>That's why you're still a kid!
>>744709184>>744709543Anyone that took the plastic off their PS3s composite cables was poor. I certainly wasn't rich and those went straight back in the box
>>744708406>>744708490>>744708702>>744708706It was probably because I hacked it, but the Wii was so awesome.Outside of Mario and Zelda games, I mainly used it for the dozen light gun games. It had tons of great puzzle games too, from Boom Blox to Zack & Wiki to all the smaller WiiWare games like Fluidity and LIT.
>>744708426me too, how's your lower back holding up?
>>744708406>I remember being 12Children can't appreciate the finer things
>>744706506always did
>>744708426wasn't that a world of warcraft thing? that was from /v/?
>>744708406Wii sucked? How come?
>>744706506Crazy that Halo survived this game.
>>744710753I'm still pissed how shit the recent reboot was>freshwater fish in saltwater
>>744706506You now remember Cold Fear.
>>744708406I had all the consoles back then and spent the most time on the Wii since it had the most games. My entire dorm would get together in the common room just to play Brawl. Good times.>>744709184Oh, you've obviously never been to college
>>744706506One of the funniest unresolved cliffhangers to this day
