The development of these "upgrades" has been contracted to dogshit 3rd party studios, and introduce critical bugs into the games that did not exist before
Not only that, but Xenoblade 1 in particular got an update independent of the Switch 2 that ALSO introduced many more horrific bugs, and there is NO WAY to downgrade your version of the game
Xenoblade X in particular got it arguably the worst, not only is there no additional content for the PAID "upgrade" patch but the visuals are utterly raped by the most dogshit AI upscaler ever implemented, the Switch 1 version of the game literally looks better
These issues have been reported for months and no patches or any acknowledgement has come from Nintendo for scamming their most dedicated fans, by raping their most prestiged RPG series with bugs and visual downgrades

What the fuck is going on at Nintendo and MonolithSoft?
Is this the thanks they get for making Nintendo BILLIONS of dollars by being the technical backbone for Breath of the Wild?
