The "Cosby Suite" at Blizzard’s BlizzCon 2013 did happen and was a verified part of the Activision Blizzard sexual harassment lawsuit, not a lie. It was a hotel room where former developer Alex Afrasiabi and other employees allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior, including posing with a portrait of Bill Cosby.

Origin of the Name: While some sources claimed the name referenced Cosby’s "ugly sweaters" or a dated boardroom, others interpreted it as a reference to Cosby’s sexual assault reputation.
Evidence: The room’s existence and the nickname were confirmed through social media posts, Facebook group chats (such as the "BlizzCon Cosby Crew"), and photographs of employees posing with a Cosby portrait.
Legal Context: The suite was explicitly mentioned in the California lawsuit alleging a "frat boy culture" of sexual harassment, where Afrasiabi was accused of hitting on and harassing female employees.
While Bill Cosby’s specific actions in the room are not the primary focus of the Blizzard lawsuit, the room itself served as a focal point for the alleged harassment and misconduct by Blizzard employees.

Never understood why the cosby room was even a thing when that picture happened before all the accusations of cosby started.

>BlizzCon 2013
All invented. They made the Cosby Suite thing into a meme after the fact because it sounded bad after Cosby was outed as a sex pest. It's essentially confirmed at this point that the old Blizz guys responsible for making decent videogames were deliberately targeted and forced out of the industry leaving a shell of a company staffed by transvestites and communists
